"My daughter and I spent a night here after a long drive through heavy and windy rains. It was a great place to rest and recover. I loved our room, the beds were comfortable and we had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant/bar downstairs. The staff was friendly and helpful and we hope to stay again. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the area. "

Location was perfect to venture to many areas of Shawnee Forest and nearby towns. House had everything we needed and more. Very clean. We all were able to take hot showers with great water pressure after our long day hikes. Beds were comfortable, and we all had great sleep. We appreciated the peacefulness of the area and also...

"We had a great time this weekend hiking around and coming back to the cabin and building a fire. The TV worked great for when we were going to bed at night. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a fine meal. I would definitely book again in the future."

"Our beds were cheap, thin, and uncomfortable. The piece of metal stripping between the carpet and kitchen floor was bent up and not safe if someone stepped or tripped on it. We put the trash can on top of it. The door lining was off some. Incredible view! "
