"The traditional log cabin is very well located, close to the event agencies, 4 min away from a hotel with nice breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. The ski bus and the bus to the airport stop in front of this hotel. The supermerket is also in walking distance.We enjoyed very much the fireplace in the log cabin same as the sauna. "The cabin was mostly as expected: nice, secluded, with all the necessary amenities, clean and safe. Fireplace and sauna are awesome. Plus the starry skies or the Auroras on every clear night. During the stay the owners responded to emails within a few hours or less. That being said, some details in the description seem outdated. It claimed no neighbors within 1 km, but there are definitely people living about 600 meters away, there are (apparently empty) houses about 400 meters away, and there...

"관광이 아닌 여행을 원하신다면 꼭 들려보세요. Truly an unspeakable experience. We visited in January 2025 to enjoy the Finnish winter, and this place provided an unforgettable time. We were lucky enough to see the aurora on our first night. Their spa facilities are excellent, and they even offer an ice bath experience in the river (we were too scared to try—lol). The cracking sounds in the forest were unlike anything we've experienced before. At first, it feels strange and intimate, but once you realize it's the sound of wood cracking due to the extreme cold, it becomes part of the unique natural experience. Coming from the U.S., we'd never heard anything like it. Interestingly, when we visited Saariselkä afterward, we didn’t hear that sound again—truly a one-of-a-kind memory. Overall, we had a great time. One small issue: we had heater problems twice during our 3-night stay. However, the maintenance team responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly. I believe this has likely been fully resolved by now. Oh, and their glögi? The best we had in all of Finland (we had glögi every day—lol). A truly wonderful experience. "
