I don't usually write reviews, but the staff at the Hotel St. James clearly take pride in what they do and deserve to be recognized for it! From the maintenance and up keep of this historical building to the overall cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the front desk clerks (with the most NYC accents you've ever heard), it's clear they know what they are doing at this adorable hotel. All of this on top of the affordable prices and the unbeatable location in the heart of Times Square make it the best place in NYC to stay in my personal opinion!"

"The room we were in needs some updates. But smack dead in the middle of NY. Also dont buy anything in their stores it atleast 150% mark up on everyday goods. 1 energy drink usually 3 for 5.50 was 7.50 for one. "

"The entire experience was great from check in to check out. We arrived early before check-in time but our room was ready which was great. We got a room with the empire state building view which was the highlight and true to the pictures. The hotel is literally right beside the subway and close to other amenities.
