This property has had mixed reviews, however, I guess this comes down to what type of person you are. Yes buses sometimes took ages and the Mini Bar wasn't always (was sometimes) replenished daily, some of the staff are quite subdued (softly spoken and restrained) but we are quite chilled out as a family and these little niggles didn't really bother us, as we were there to unwind and relax which is exactly what we did. Our Butler (really a concierge) booked us all our a-la-carte restaurants...

I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants to go on holoday with other half and have romantic holiday. Take a bit if cash for excursions and dinning "out" as it is worth it. Definietly go to Francos and The Beach. Take your snorkelling kit with you, rent costs $9 per set per day or you can buy one in the shop and the price is between $49-$90.

Such an amazing holiday. From the time we arrived at Male airport, everything was smoothly arranged. We found the staff there are extremely friendly and helpful. Being a new resort, Hurawalhi has the amenities at excellent condition. Thanks to the relative small size, guests are well taken care of and there is true sense of privacy. We like that we are served by the same waiter (Rasheed) everyday in the restaurant and he knew what we want immediately after we sit down. Thumbs up to other staff...

Well, I am sure there are some even more luxurious resorts in the Maldives than Komandoo. But why would you want to stay there. We had the most amazing Maldives experience at Komandoo that we could think of. It doesn't offer everything...but what it offers it does so with style and class. The luxury is the simplicity and the attention to detail. A beautiful, quiet place in paradise with a friendly and helpful staff. We'd go back tomorrow if we could.

An amazing place! In order to understand - you need to come here.Truly the best place to swim around the world!!!! Lovely friendly staff, excellent food, comfortable modern villa. We will definitely come back!!! Thank you

Thé name of the resort is fitting with the reality, it’s a paradise really enjoyed our trip and will go back for sure

Like others who have visited I tend not to write reviews but as this is a new resort I think the world needs to know about it. Let's not mention the seaplane transfer for now but the hotel, resort and staff are amazing. The welcome straight from the seaplane is exotic and from the first step the staff are at your beckon call. The villas are super clean and contain all modcons, the outdoor bathrooms are amazing and with the exception of a few ants (to be expected at the least in such a...

It is a quiet and picturistique island. We didnt bump into other guests often (I guess partly due to off season) so it feels discrete and like being on your own. The sea view is breathtaking and the sandy beach is pretty. Jumping off the jetty to the snorkeling site to see the coral reef, fish and occasionally turtles. Once you are done you can swim to the hotel spa. Steam or sonar yourself while looking at the turquoise sea for ultimate refreshing experience. We also bike around the island as a...

Absolutely fantastic stay- we were met at Male airport and looked after to our flight to Ifuru Island which is outstanding. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. Cannot...
