The staff were really excellent, simply 1st class as was the food which could not be faulted! We loved the grounds and the room (off of the main building perfect for our two young children) The children loved the whole experience- they could run about with the peacocks and two cute dogs and play in the pool. We had a charming babysitter that evening so we could enjoy a fabulous dinner. Would definitely come back again!

Amazing stay in this hotel, staying for two nights in their Junior Suite. Hotel is exceptional, building renovated to a modern standard with architectural and designer items everywhere, inc stunning furniture and quality products throughout. Grounds are lovely with the hotel perched on the top of Sancerre, overlooking the town and the Loire. You can also get access to the Tour des Fiefs tower which is in the grounds. Our room was spacious, well designed and quality throughout. Breakfast was good...

This was a great property and a very fair price. Super well positioned if you are touring north Burgundy as it 4 mins from the A6. A huge supermarket just 11 mins away. Well equipped kitchen. My only problem was that all the communications came through Expedia including the code to get the key. So you need to be really sure you can access your Expedia messages to enter the property. Several guests were struggling a little bit with access when we were there - although they all seemed to get in...
