Blown away by the beauty of this place. Very comfortable accomodation right on the Queen Charlotte Track. Our patio had a gorgeous view and led straight down to the water. There were hammocks and a hot tub right there by the lodge. We had a lovely dinner and breakfast.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were taken care of by all of the wonderful staff. In particular Mr Han who deserves a special mention as he simply went above & beyond.
Thank you to you all & to Mr Han in particular.
The staff at breakfast also deserve a special mention as they too were really attentive.

From the minute you book, you are assured of a warm welcome. On arrival the key was in the door with a welcome note. Just walked in and made ourselves at home. Extremely well equipped with tea coffee washing up liquid, towels and washing powder. Phones in all the units mean you can call other guests or the managers who are immediately available! Probably the first accommodation I have actually stayed in with washing machine and dryer within the unit! Gas barbecue meant we could have a barbecue...

easy walking distance to resturans and shops. very welcoming staff, showed us places to eat, visit on a map, asked if we had any plans and needed any assistance for driving directions. hotel was very clean and modern styling. decent size rooms. good base for exploring able tasmin nation park.

Spacious and clean room in the lovely town Nelson. The owner was really helpful for us when we were worrying about the ferry and the weather too - we made it across the strait in one piece lol! He was great to interact with and all of the staff were very helpful with recommendations for the area.
The TV and cooking amenities were very good too. Thanks for a lovely stay

When we arrived there was a big power cut in Kaikoura. Finola, the receptionist was very kind and advised us that it would be back on by 3pm. We went down to the seal colony area and found a seafood shack by the beach. We ordered prawns and scallops with salad and rice and it was delicious. When we got back all the lights were on. Gonna was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The room was perfect and the shower room had under floor heating. It was a great stay.

Another excellent stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful, across the road is the Tides Hotel in the same ownership where you can dine, the food is first class with great staff
I would strongly recommend staying here.

We didn’t have breakfast but had dinner twice in the restaurant which was fabulous. The staff were excellent particularly Tarin and Billy.
The room was spotless and very comfortable.
Perfectly situated for our sightseeing. 10/10.

The check in and check out process is a bit weird if you are not used to it but once you learn that after and before a certain time the front desk is not staffed and the keys are in a key box, it’s totally fine. The hotel itself is lovely and super central. Totally recommend
