"Stay away! It was the worst experience of my whole stay in Sri Lanka. I booked that hotel for 1 night. I noticed that they have a policy for late check in (after 9pm) so on the way I tried to contact them because I was afraid if I will be able to get over there on time. Me and my driver called them several times for hours before my arrival without any result. Finally we got over there about 8:30 pm but there was nobody there and all seemed like closed. "Hotel location in heart of Fort Galle excellent. Staff service, friendliness and willingness to accommodate excellent. Beautiful buildings well restored. Excellent breakfast. I assume they are not 5 star as only provide some of the little extras in room that you would normally expect from like properties eg tissues, body lotion etc but that didn’t bother us! Our bed was a little saggy but that is the only fault we could find. They even gave us a very late checkout at no cost when we offered to pay which was very much appreciated & totally not expected. Highly recommend."
