Washing machine on site is a plus, with warehouse space for drying. Coin laundry facility is 5 minutes away when necessary. Breakfast buns are provided daily. We had a wonderful stay and the staff onsite was very helpful with answering questions. We were also able to order a "lunchbox" (wrapped in leaves) for our day hikes which was convenient." I have a halal diet and the staff were able to cater for this in the half-board meals provided. The staff in the cafeteria were great and I felt like I had a lovely experience being fussed over (they treated everyone kindly). The front desk staff were great and spoke good English. There is a free shuttle service to the airport but you have to let them know in advance when your flight is (if you’re arriving, notify them by email as they don’t respond to messages made through hotels.com). The hotel is also next to an important bus stop that takes you direct to Shiratani Unsuiko and also takes you to the place you have to make a transfer for Yakusugi land. I also loved my tatami room which had a spacious bathroom.
