One night stay to experience the Periyar reserve close by. Our room was enormous and located near the very back of the property. Sadly building works are directly next to the property so we heard angle grinding. Mgr tried to stop them but only the rain did. Staff amazing. Food delicious. Great cocktails and beers. Out of the four Taj hotels that we stayed in, Bekal offers the best value for money with amazing villas. I was concerned that the backwaters may have meant lots of insects but this wasn’t the case. The gardens with an amazing variety of birds, the sea food restaurant by the beach, the pool, everything is beautiful

I additin to excellent services and facilities, and the helpful staff, i must mentiion the fabulous food - buffet style, fish restaurant at waters edge, and the heritage, regional specialty restaurant called Curries. outstanding.

Amazing property! They only have 28 rooms so hard to get a reservation. Best time to go is during the rains to watch the birds!

It was a nice pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful. Only concern was mosquitos in the room. Otherwise we really enjoyed the views and the nature.

Heritage Resort Coorg is a stunner of a property in terms of location and beauty. It is lush green with beautifully maintained outdoors and gardens. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. I must particularly compliment the staff for their helpfulness, politeness and courtesy. The view from the room is memorable and the monsoons added to the charm.

Clean room and staff very friendly

During our stay at the Savoy in Ooty, we were endlessly impressed with the level of service by all staff from the gardeners to the managers who were attentive and nothing was ever too much trouble.
