"We were in town for a family wedding and had a lovely and comfortable stay near the venue, and added bonus that it’s near Rip Van Winkle Gardens. The two cabins were great to accommodate our family and small dogs. They came equipped with everything that you would need while traveling (e.g., great water pressure, A/C, dishwasher, laundry, hair dryer, coffee and coffee maker, etc.). "This was a beautiful, peaceful, perfect place for our adult children to stay in, that came into town for a long weekend for our wedding. It has two separate cottages perfect to have separate, space. But also has an adjoining screened back porch over looking the bayou, that we used to have a Louisiana Friday family night of gumbo, with a fire pit and visiting. The property owners were gracious enough, that they let us use the grounds and property for pre-wedding photos. It was an amazing weekend....

"Went for relaxation while in the city . Lobby was clean spacious and updated . Check in went smooth . One of the elevators was out , understandable , but the hotel was also hosting a mixer in the front of the building . So wait for elevator was a bit long. Room was spacious ,but dated and aged, with purple walls and turquoise curtains . Not a big deal for a night or two but there was “event” being held in front of the building , music blared until 1030 or so . Called down , Cade in guest services was not very helpful nor polite. Hilton customer service and Expedia was helpful in the end. "

"It was ok. The staff really is great. The place could use a good updated remodel. Better pillows as well. They were very small square pillows on a king sized bed. Fridge was not cold & the dial was already maxed out. Good location. Truly the only real complaint as a mother alone with small children, there were men sitting on the steps of each floor during our stay all through out the day & night. I don’t know if these men were employees or not, but it had me felling very uneasy my entire stay (4 days/3 nights). If these are employees.. they really should not do this. "

"We were just passing through. Had never stayed at this particular hotel and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were just what we needed; a buffet dinner with a glass of wine and breakfast in the morning, all inclusive. Again, the staff was so incredibly nice!"

"Dirty room, dusty and poor upkeep. Poor housekeeping service that did not reliably come to clean the room regularly and when they did, it was a poor job. They did not pick-up/change towels left in the tub. Bed-making was a joke and looked disheveled. Room smelled like smoke throughout our stay. Had to have it disinfected three times. Left a message at the front desk to call the manager about the situation and they never returned the call. TV did not work properly and maintenance could not fix it. Restaurant floor had leftover food droppings from the night before at breakfast; they clearly did not vacuum. Shockingly poor stay. Hotel rooms are not in good condition. "
