"It is a very peaceful environment. Walking the property offers opportunities for quiet reflection , as does simply sitting on the porch overlooking the river."

"This was a perfect place for a nice little get away!"

"My daughter and I spent a night here after a long drive through heavy and windy rains. It was a great place to rest and recover. I loved our room, the beds were comfortable and we had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant/bar downstairs. The staff was friendly and helpful and we hope to stay again. Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in the area. "

"Nice stay"

"Very cute & cozy, great place to stay for anybody looking to explore the hiking trails in the area"

"Cabin was cute, clean, and pet friendly. We enjoyed the fire pit area each evening. The price was reasonable and it was a really good value. We would stay here again. Grounds were nicely kept and the Outpost was nice for ice cream in the afternoon. The location was good for not having to travel too far to go hiking or exploring. Had a relaxing and peaceful stay!!"

"Always fun stay here, beds r newer finally, good rest."

"The cabin is lovely. The hosts had all the essentials plus all the little extra things that show they have pride in their property. The cabin is centrally located between several “must-sees” in the Shawnee National Forest. Just of note there are no grocery stores within about 30 minutes of the cabin. "Had a great time, very friendly people. Only set back was not any food choices in the immediate area but that's not their fault. "

"Great quiet location! It was very clean and comfy! Will definitely be back again!!"

"Great little getaway! If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing weekend this is definitely it. Pictures don’t do this place justice, and everything is extremely well taken care of and maintained. Make sure to bring your fishing pole and swimming gear, the clean pond is ideal for both. Traveled here with my wife and our two boys, 10yo and 5mo, and it was just right for us. We’ll be back, thanks for an amazing stay!"

"Clean comfy and a great number of beds. It was great!"

"The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed for a pleasant stay."

"The cabin is beautiful and set in a quaint wooded area. The surrounding cabins are just far enough away to not feel crowded, yet also not feel alone. The large deck is awesome and the access to hiking trails is great. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay again!"
