The only think to be aware of is that the Villa is on a main road, and very close to the railway line which is very noisy throughout the night and did rather spoil our stay. "What a gorgeous estate JC and Christine have created, complete with treasured antiques and beautiful objects - honouring the past. Everywhere you look is a delight! The staff are very attentive and hardworking, and we felt like royalty. We did not want to leave once we arrived - simply lying back in the hammock or floating in the pool, until the next delicious and generous meal arrived. "The house has a good location, easy to access the beach. The owner is super kind and helpful, we are vegan and asked for a vegan breakfast, they made every day different options and lots of fruits. "This was our second stay on our trip in Sri Lanka as we enjoyed the hotel so much the first time. Lovely comfortable rooms. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We dined in both restaurants and the food was excellent in each one. The rooftop bar has a really nice vibe to enjoy the stunning sunsets/cocktails. Would totally recommend if in this area. "
