Different kinds of tulips bloom in different parts of the month. Starting from March until May. If you want to be sure of a nice colorful view go in mid-April. 

There are different routes to drive to follow the tulip fields. Some of the fields you can go to take pictures, others you cant. There are even some special plucking fields :)

"This hotel is a very new build. Family owned. Everything was new and clean, the rooms are very spacious with a very spacious bathroom to go with it. "Die Lage direkt am See und nahe am Wald ist top. Man braucht ein Auto für zb Einkäufe. Leider waren keine Fliegen/-Mückennetze vorhanden und es hat in der Hütte gewimmelt vor Mücken. Bei Außentemperaturen von mehr als 25 Grad ist es innen auch sehr sehr warm. Die Austattung ist sehr minimal. Trotzdem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt und wir saßen fast nur draußen auf der „Terasse“."

"The location was very easy to find; checking in was all digital - key information clear. The kitchen well equipped and the cooking facility is simple but enough for a few days. Clean and proper all round. The bed was very comfortable, with plenty of extra bedding and plenty towels, if necessary. The shower was clean and hot/cold water worked well. Great to have a veranda, as we had a lot of rain (and sunshine) but used the dining table outside every day. We also enjoyed the privacy of a...

"Overpriced hotel. For one night, check in 3:00pm and checkout 8:00am, $900.00 Canadian. Not worth it. If not for our river cruise only picking up from this hotel, we would have stayed at our first hotel we had been in for previous 4 nights at a third of the cost and LOVELY. Had we known, we would have not stayed at Hilton and made our way ourselves to cruise ship departure. Do not recommend at this price! Nothing special here and we travel quite a bit."
