Got food poisoning and was charged $500 in a medical bill. Medical facility and care were way better than expected. Food was okay in my opinion, nothing to write home about, but got the job done. Not much to do on the property besides pool, beach, and small miscellaneous activities. Definitely an older crowd, so it was peaceful and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful." The infrastructure is there but staff should be better trained. There was no water from 3-5 PM in our rooms for 2 days and the person checking us in AT 3:00 should have informed us of that. Instead there is a little note on the table easily missed and we didn’t see until we tried to use the restroom in the room. The restaurant randomly closes on particular days and when I asked why they said they didn’t know. Pretty property and the food at the beach place is good even if expensive. Asked for a different studio/kitchen room, lied about availability and offered a lower valued room instead for same higher price. Saw on internet studio/kitchen rooms were available. Decided to check out early, no refund of course, as the beds were so bad I suffered with very sore back. The only plus is the location to beach and restaurants. Definitivamente este es un hotel que vale la pena visitar nuevamente." Well equipped apartment although the sofa's weren't very comfortable. Location is good ... across from the beach. The walk downtown takes about 20 minutes ... the road is narrow so you have to pay attention to the traffic as you walk. Pool was nice. Breakfasts were good. There is a ping pong table. Staff is friendly and helpful. Didn't use the spa. Nice big porch attached to the room but couldn't use it as much as we would have liked because of the mosquitos. Lots of friendly cats on the hotel grounds ... we adopted one for the week... a real sweet heart!"
