Amazing for families

Very good hotel. Located on the outskirts of Salalah, in a quiet place. Spacious rooms, in fact we were given full-scale one bedroom apartment! Fantastic service, special thanks to Sri-Lankan chief Mohammed and waiter Saif. Breakfast was amazing, we stayed 5 days and there were 5 different sets of food for breakfast. Without even asking Saif provided us with cold drinks at the swimming pool every day. Will definitely stay in this hotel on our next visit to Salalah! Just remember that a car is...

Very much off the beaten track luxury, beautifully delivered. A fabulous, unique location and lovely design and execution of the built environment which blends seamlessly with the desert around it. Still some issues with the food and beverage side of things - service and quality is not up to 5-Star standard yet, but the potential is huge.

Fa-bu-lous! Elegant hotel, comfortable and well designed rooms, amazing pool, perfect beach, food is superb, staff is attentive and efficient. Can only recommend highly.

Staying at Al Fanar is one of the best experiences in life. I went there with my wife, & we enjoyed each second of our trip. 1st; the hospitality is beyond expectations. The staff is very kind. I would like to personally Thank Mr. Hussein Al Ma'ashani for his extreme kindness and hospitality. They even offered complimentary coffee & fruit platter. The hotel is safe and quiet, the rooms are very clean, & the parameters are very nice to walk&talk, & enjoy the ocean from the different seating...

Very pleasant & helpful staff. Near by large supermall. 20% discount for top floor Dinner. However, prefered to have more fresh food menu options. Night scenery from the top floor was breath taking. Preferred to have a balcony room, but our room was over looking the pool. Painting & new carpets would make the hotel building marvelous...

I arrived at 11am very tired and was immediately able to check into my room. The room was spacious and clean. I used the pool and breakfast was good, you could order omelettes at the counter. All the staff were extremely helpful and the hotel is located close to a mall and lots of eating places so no need for a taxi in the evening. Recommend and would stay again!

Location

The room was very clean, it had all the usable products you beed. A kettle, tea and coffee was a bonus. The staff were friendly and most helpful. I would recommend it.

An excellent place to stay with an amazing setting and friendly staff.

Everything was good and excellent

Lovely hotel with excellent, friendly staff who are always eager to please. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and cleaned regularly with checks to make sure all is in order everyday. The gardens are well maintained and the restaurants offer an excellent choice of menu, The chefs are efficient as are the staff there. An excellent experience overall :)

The best thing about the stay was the staff. Couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
