Russell Falls is actually more popular out of the two waterfalls however if you continue a short distance further along the same walking track you will reach Horseshoe Falls which is my favourite, the scenery along the way through the tall swamp gum forest, massive tree ferns and moss covered undergrowth is beautiful. Both waterfalls look impressive after a lot of rainfall and as luck would have it there was plenty of rainfall prior to our visit.
