This place is heaven. The owners are a lovely couple who are genuinely lovely people. They designed this place themselves and the attention to detail is evident. The room was great with a stunning Mountain View and modern en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was a lovely plus too! We will stay here again when we’re in the area.

Lovely. Very comfortable with excellent, friendly service. Good breakfast (but we would have liked more choices) ... a light breakfast option would be ideal. A very lovely property and the cats are a delight.

Timing House is located on a cliff, so it has two entrances on two levels. The back entrance corresponds to the listed address (123 Zhongshan Road) and is behind a bike rental shop. This entrance is very close to the bus stops/tourist information centre. The front/guest entrance has easy access to the public car park and a 7-11. The decoration is very modern, with a Totoro theme. There's a small garden with a pond and swing and a guest kitchen/common room. The rooms are spacious and clean, but...

This is a really good hotel in Taichung. I usually stay at the Le Meridien but this is a good alternative. Be aware of the check out time which is annoying (I thought it was 1200 but it’s at 1100). Room is super clean and shower was really nice. Air conditioning was good too. Good view from a high floor and very good place in Taichung.

hotel room was amazing, the decor was very interesting. room layout was odd with the bathroom at the window end of the room but with the sliding doors it did not impede the light. Breakfast room was stunning but too large and open to be comfortable. Staff were all very good. It was a business trip so area was convenient but there is nothing to see in this area so transport is vital.

Really Nice hotel, with Friendly staff. Slightly out of town (5 min walk), but will load you bicycle if wanted. Also provided voucher for cycle hire to go around the island. Hotel was is good condition, very family friendly. A real break from the identikit business hotels.
