"The hotel is fantastic, offering great views of the lake and the surrounding greenery—plus all the birds, monkeys, and other wildlife you can spot. The property is clean, featuring beautiful gardens to enjoy, and the staff is very friendly. The breakfasts are delicious, as is the other food they serve; I had a fish dish that was absolutely amazing. The beauty begins the moment you turn off the main road and drive the two kilometers to the hotel—it’s a lovely experience you wish wouldn't end. Many thanks to the place and its staff. "We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the main square and close to many restaurants and attractions. The hotel has beautiful colonial charm and a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay very enjoyable. The cleanliness and maintenance of both our room and the entire hotel were outstanding. Everything was very well cared for, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The balcony was beautiful, and the view of the church was absolutely stunning. It made our stay even more special. There were only two things that disappointed us. First, our room was never restocked with complimentary coffee packets during our entire one-week stay. For a hotel of this category, we found that to be quite unprofessional. Second, the room entrance doors are not soundproof, so you can easily hear conversations and noise from outside. It doesn’t provide much privacy, and that was something we did not like. Other than those two issues, everything else was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Granada, Nicaragua."

"Hotel Casa Sam Francisco was an incredible stay in an incredible town. The thing that really stood out was the staff with how friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable they are about Granada and how to get around. The owner Terry took time during breakfast to speak with me and check in on me, which really made the hotel feel very welcoming and warm. Also, it is a very interesting historical building and within walking distance from many attractions in Granada. Would 100% recommend!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Plaza Marbella. This charming boutique hotel was an unexpected gem in Granada. Its location is excellent—just a short walk from the main square—making it easy to explore the city. We also appreciated the lovely pool, and the complimentary breakfast was a wonderful way to start each day. What truly made our stay exceptional was the attentive and welcoming staff. Blanca, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She was incredibly friendly, often anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. She also arranged all of our transportation, including transfers to and from the airport and transportation between Granada and the San Jorge port for our trip to Ometepe, making our travels completely stress-free. The outstanding hospitality made our experience memorable, and we would definitely stay at Plaza Marbella again. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Granada."
