Excellent staff, beautiful property (had the best sunset we saw in Sri Lanka) and great food

We had an amazing stay at hotel Dormero. The hotels right in front of the beach which made it very convenient for us to go around swimming and other beach activities which were nearby. The room itself was kept spotless with daily housekeeping. The staff were very nice and polite. We even had the opportunity to celebrate new years with the staff and eat amazing food. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would recommend.

Perfect hotel, very close to beach. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sun by the sea or poolside. Rooms are spotless and spacious with everything laid out well. All food is freshly cooked and the service flawless. We were looked after incredibly well by Anura and Dominic who could not do enough to help. Many thanks to all the staff.

First time in Sri Lanka. Simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. Friendly, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for us, a superb room with a balcony offering a beautiful beach view. We stayed five nights and didn't bother to eat anywhere else - the food was excellent. We wanted to take the chef home with us. We took long walks along the beaches and spent a lot of time in the wonderful hotel grounds and by the very stylish infinity pool. We want to visit Sri Lanka again soon...

Amazing, clean and great location hotel! This is right on the beach with its own secluded pool, relaxation area and just steps to the sea. The staff are great and the room we were given were amazing!

Stunning hotel with exceptional hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and very highly recommend the hotel.

Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were fresh with a good range of choices, regularly changed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Methuli on the front desk was particularly helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to planning a return visit

We have just returned from a two week stay at this little paradise and can honestly say we loved every second. The villa has everything that you could need, it is safe, well designed, comfortable and clean with a gorgeous outside area that backs directly onto an unspoilt quiet part of the beach. This is an ideal hotel to unwind and when you have, go explore the real Sri Lanka. Our Tuk-Tuk driver was superb in helping us with every thing out side the hotel, ie eating out for a change and trip, his name is Thomas. hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did.

Great place, great location! beach just 100 meters, pool 50 meters, amazing rooms & great view, great staff ( helped us with early check-in) and always ready to help. Other attractions near by - Bentota river, water sports, great local market 10 minutes walk from hotel for small souvenirs. The only thing perhaps that can be improved is a) room service experience b) more variety in food during breakfast and dinner Bharat

Peaceful & relaxing with a beautiful beach & safe swimming. The Garden Villas were delightful & the staff genuinely friendly with good service standards. There is a lifeguard on duty who is both informative about sea conditions & the wildlife around. The birdlife is stunning. Only one small quibble in that the inner pool area could do with a bit of a clean.Other than that all good & would certainly recommend.

Hotel is located in nice area not over crowded. Hotel has 3 pools very clean, the beach is good. Rooms were cleaned everyday, we stayed for 4 nights, entertainment in the evening was excellent, food choice was excellent lots of verities for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We didn't Get to book alcart restaurant as they were fully booked. Overall the hotel standard is excellent.

The hotel is newly opened and some parts are not yet operational like the ocean wing and some of its restaurants. However we loved our stay and wish to come back when the hotel has 100% occupancy. The food the room the service is a class apart. The staff delights you from the time u enter and the time you exit the hotel.. I loved the way they welcomed us with a cultural dance and bid us good bye by tying a yellow thread in our hand for a safe journey.. The best part of the hotel is...

Excellent location with 2 large swimming pool overlooking the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and the pool staff made sure that we stay comfortably in the shade enjoying the sea view. We stayed on all inclusive package and lots of choices of tasty food were available throughout the day. Excellent customer services by Shanduni, Varuni from the restaurant, Prasanna -cleaning staff, Raju from the bar. We will highly recommend this resort and definitely stay again on our next visit to Sri Lanka.

Home away from home boutique hotel. Service is amazing. Nothing is too much hassle. The food is incredible. So relaxing and the beach access is right there. Perfect start to our Sri Lanka adventure. Would highly recommend.

Nice location right on the beach with comfortable sun loungers and plenty of shade, if desired. my husband liked the fact that the pool was shaded too. Staff were friendly and helpful
