Perfect hotel, very close to beach. Ideal for relaxing and enjoying the sun by the sea or poolside. Rooms are spotless and spacious with everything laid out well. All food is freshly cooked and the service flawless. We were looked after incredibly well by Anura and Dominic who could not do enough to help. Many thanks to all the staff.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel which is in such a great location with fabulous views of the beach. There's lots to do nearby. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious (bed was huge!) and clean. The food was delicious. We would definitely recommend.

First time in Sri Lanka. Simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. Friendly, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for us, a superb room with a balcony offering a beautiful beach view. We stayed five nights and didn't bother to eat anywhere else - the food was excellent. We wanted to take the chef home with us. We took long walks along the beaches and spent a lot of time in the wonderful hotel grounds and by the very stylish infinity pool. We want to visit Sri Lanka again soon...

A family business run by Himmel. The property sits right next to Bentota Lagoon. There is a daily shuttle to and from the beach. The accommodation is in a block of two floors. The rooms are clean and spacious with plenty of storage space and a large furnished patio or balcony overlooking the pool and lagoon. The rooms are kept very clean by very friendly staff. This is an ideal hotel to unwind and when you have, go explore the real Sri Lanka. Our Tuk-Tuk driver was superb in helping us with every thing out side the hotel, ie eating out for a change and trip, his name is Thomas. hope you enjoy the experience as much as we did.

Great place, great location! beach just 100 meters, pool 50 meters, amazing rooms & great view, great staff ( helped us with early check-in) and always ready to help. Other attractions near by - Bentota river, water sports, great local market 10 minutes walk from hotel for small souvenirs. The only thing perhaps that can be improved is a) room service experience b) more variety in food during breakfast and dinner Bharat

We had a wonderful stay at Villa 80. Our room was comfy and Henry, his wife and staff couldn't do enough for us. The tranquil garden was a real haven and the pool was a bonus. We weren't far from excellent beaches and the railway station. A tuktuk was available to run us to wherever we wanted to be whether to the local market or local gardens. And the breakfasts were excellent.

What a find! This place is a newly opened small boutique guest house built in Colonial style that has everything you could wish for during your stay in Hikkaduwa. Peter, the owner, is a man many years in the hospitality trade who is incredibly welcoming and hospitable, going out of his way to ensure his guests are happy and comfortable at all times. Suite Lanka is such a lovely place. We stayed for 11 days so longer than most and throughout our stay the staff didn’t put a foot wrong. This is what makes this place special. If you want an ultra modern bland hotel then this is definitely Not your place. Our rooms ( pool suite and adjoining room) were comfortable and spacious, with good air con and beautiful bathrooms. We spent six nights at the Asian Jewel and found it a wonderfully restful place to stay, with lovely gardens and a small clean swimming pool. We had the “Kingfisher” room which allowed wonderful views of the lagoon from the really large balcony. The restaurant offers really excellent Sri Lankan and western food.
