"When we arrived at the hotel, the whole site smelled of sewage. The restaurant area, the grounds, the pool area. When we asked why they said the pipes had broke. But when we tried to get our monies back and leave there was no manager at the hotel. The desk person said the manager lives in Mexico. When even Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel to get a refund for us they coudln't get an answer. "

"Beautiful property and our cabin room was blissful. Right on the beach. They raked the sand every morning and kept it clean. Only issue I encountered was finding the check in desk as it is all owned by Jaguar Reef. "

"Paid over $600 US for three people, decided to leave San Pedro earlier than planned due to harassment by hawkers, emailed Amelias explaining would not be checking in, told no problem, go to hotel in person before arrival date for full refund. Went two days before, was told by owners wife there was no record of my booking, no record of my payment or my name, the rooms were already re-rented, and to discuss it with her husband, who was out of country and unavailable."

"The manager has been so welcoming and helpful. Despite issues with the wifi which were being fixed, the hostess provided for our every need and was very helpful."

"Very friendly staff and super attentive. Unit could use more kitchen items and the bathrooms need a major overhaul. Pool needed maintenance, as well. Amazing, clean beach and staff were constantly working to keep it clean. Housekeeping did not come until dinner, but when asked for extra pillows, someone came right away. Laguna was great food and service. Pizza place was yummy, but expensive. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time. "
