This is my second time staying in the Lamp Light Books Hotel Nagoya. It is conveniently located close to a station, which easily accessible from Nagoya station. Great stopover hotel if you're arriving late at Nagoya airport. Very friendly staff!

All things about the hotel were excellent apart from the following. Having specifically booked a Premium Floor room (with complementary access to the fitness suite and pool) for the whole of my stay, I was then informed that the pool and fitness suite would in fact be closed for the final two days of my stay for planned works, which they had known about far in advance. It's conveniently located to the station, although Google maps takes you on a really random route. Standard room for two is cosy but, decent enough to have as a base. It's well stocked with good quality amenities and is very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. We didn't have a chance to try out the spa. Overall brilliant experience for a well reasonable price. Would easily recommend.

The staff are very attentive and polite. Very efficient service. We broke our 2 week stay for a trip to Tokyo and the hotel stored our luggage and had it delivered to our rooms before we arrived back. Only downside was that we booked the hotel for the gym, spa and pool but this was only available at an additional charge which was not shown on the Expedia site. I hope that Expedia and Tokyu Hotel clarify this for future guests.

Very nice hotel room for family stay! This was the first time my kids tried public bath, and they loved it! The bath was very clean, very well maintained and enjoyable, so we didn’t have any chance to use the shower in our room at all (although it was also very nice and modern)! You must not miss the hotel breakfast, as you can have the famous Nagoya local cuisines all in one place, and all you can eat! Welcome drink was also refreshing. Spacious and modern room.

wonderful experience. check in and bag deposit was seamless but the concierge went so out of our way to sort us out. sumo tlckets on zero notice etc. after horror experience at hyatt regency tokyo this was so far in the other direction.

the air conditioning is not cool enough

Good sized room. Good location for the wedding we were attending. Nice cafe area downstairs.

Everything was excellent. The bathroom was slightly dated but most functional and clean. Customer service can't be beaten I would strongly recommend.

I book the hotel on the day that I need to stay! I was in a hurry and needed a room near the hotel my family stayed. The price was very friendly so I did not expect anything. But it turned out to be a wonderful hotel with wonder staff with wonderful service! The room is comfortable and clean. My boy and I had a very good rest! They even offered free breakfast. A very lovely experience! I will stay in this hotel next time when I visit Nagoya

hidden cost applied as mentioned in previous comment. Luckily, same frontdesk staff handling to ease the check-in, he arranged the same room for us and comfy bed was made for the 3rd guest this time

Room size enough for my family (2 adults and 2 childrens ) , not far from Nagoya station, we walked to Nagoya city science museum, Breakfast not much choice but not bad, recommended for family
