A Family Orientated "Resort Style" PRIVATE HOME in the upscale community of Holiday Isle and situated "Directly on the Destin Harbor" (Not on a Canal where people on the other side of the canal can watch your every move around the pool patio as well as indoors unless you keep your blinds and curtains closed all day and night). The Gulf of Mexico Beach Access is only a 2 block/2 minute walk up the sidewalk from the house where you'll also find a parking area for pull carts, bicycles and golf carts. This Access Point is (Private for Holiday Isle Owners and Guests Only) and fronted by Upscale Private Beach Homes (As opposed to Condos) so there's very little congestion in this area of the beach in comparison to other stretches along the entire Destin/Miramar Beach Shoreline, Even in the Peak Seasons!! Whether you venture out from the Harbor Oasis by car, water taxi or on your own boat or jet skis you're just minutes away from the "Heart of Destin" and all it's renowned attractions such as Crab Island, HarborWalk Village, AJ's Oyster House along with the countless other restaurants and live entertainment venues located throughout the Destin Harbor and Holiday Isle. When remodelling/designing the Harbor Oasis, we focused on Quality (Not Quantity) along with adding Special/Unique Features and Benefits. Golf Cart Rentals are also available but not really essential due to our close proximity of the Habor Oasis to the beach. (See contact info for Wecart at the bottom of this page) POOL AND PATIO AREA The Large Pool and Live Edge Spa is surrounded by a Vast Patio Area with an ample mix of reclining sunbathing loungers and table/chair sets for those who want to soak up the rays. For those who prefer the shade we also have you covered by a Large Pergola with relaxing seating and fireplace as well as a pool side Covered Dining/Gathering Room with a mini fridge and granite countertop for laying out your munchie trays while watching a game or movie on the 50' Smart TV. There's also a collection of pool floats and toys for your use in the pool shed beside the house. We felt very welcome at this property, and the outdoor area is as good as it sounds - even better. Features we loved: \* Tons of seating options around the pool. \* Multiple areas to hang out outdoors - Our little one watched cartoons on the nearby TV while we enjoyed working a couple puzzles at the live edge wood table and barstool area. \* Two lovely areas to turn on the fire pit to roast s'mores. \* Grill and fire pits easy and ready to go! \* Multiple fridges, TVs, tables in the outdoor spaces. (And indoor spaces, for that matter.) \* Sand tools and access to wade in the harbor to get water in buckets for sand castles. \* The large, heated pool! Used it every day and felt very welcome here. Easy, comfortable, functioned great. We also noted how large the pool is compared to other homes' pools. \* Loved having a volleyball court at our disposal. The walk to the beach was quicker than I anticipated. It is a very pleasant, quiet walk with the gated access straight down the street from the house. (The beach is large and the sand is immaculate.) We enjoyed the bikes, as well. It was nice having an additional full-size refrigerator downstairs, and we had all the kitchen dishes and utensils we needed. It was also nice having multiple large trash cans available in the kitchen areas. Comfortable beds and showers. It was designed for our family. With two teens and two little ones, this was perfect. We enjoyed kayaking, volleyball, fishing off the dock and in our boats. The owner thought of every little thing and then some. There were issues with ac and appliances, but they were addressed and then fixed pretty quickly. It was so simple to reach the beach. I have stayed in many homes in this area at holiday isle and have to say the outdoor space was the best we have stayed at. The large pool was a big plus for my family and friends that stayed there. The house was spacious and accommodating for adults and kids. The only suggestion that would have made this perfect is an upright/chest freezer for bait and Ice as we were constantly having to make a run to the store for ice for drinks, boat etc...An ice machine would be great too! Overall it was a great house and you wont be disappointed. Gorgeous location and nicely furnished. There were couple things that bothered us: the cleanliness was very poor, property manager was very uncooperative with us when we asked the key to the beach earlier until they were finishing the cleaning, it was just one beach gate key available for our gang of 4 families, the upstairs thermostat was keeping shutting down after some set up time( we tried to reset it but it looks that it was set up to shut down). ##### Elena V. This was the first time our large family group decided to rent a house instead of multiple condos. We had the best time, the owner was communicative and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We had kids ranging from one to thirteen, who were beyond entertained with the private pool, hot tub, volleyball net, corn-hole boards, basketball goals, kayaking, and fishing from the dock. The beach was a short walk away and wagons, chairs, and umbrellas were provided at the house for our use. The outdoor patios were perfect for relaxing and enjoying harbor views while the kids played. We had a wonderful time at Harbor Oasis and made memories that will last a lifetime! ##### Letina W. The 5 adults stayed upstairs and the 7 teens had the downstairs to themselves. We loved the outdoor space. We could watch March Madness basketball games sitting outside enjoying the atmosphere. We played basketball, volleyball, badminton, cornhole, kayaked, swam, and sat in the hot tub. Everything was provided for us. We rented a pontoon from Boogies Watersports and could pull right up to the dock to pick people up and drop them off. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. We used the outdoor grill quite a few days. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we had a great time celebrating the kids for their senior trip! ##### Amy C. The location was a block from the most beautiful beach with very fine white sand and amazing water. Located on the harbor with a nice dock for fishing, relaxing, kayaking, or water taxi pick up/drop off. 5 kayaks available on the property to use with life jackets! The pool was heated and hot tub was perfect for those cooler days in March. We all had a great time using the sand volleyball court. Occasionally the ball would go in the water but easy to fish out. There are two propane fire pits that were nice to use with plenty of seating around them. There was so much to do on the property and beach that we really didn’t need to venture out much. Located very close to Windixie grocery store and Target. We also had everything we needed for cooking in the kitchen. Bedrooms were all very nice and beds very comfortable. The living room was a great space to gather and watch the basketball tournament or have family game night.
