Unclean, Unsafe, and Bizarre

I cannot recommend staying here to anyone. While the main surfaces appeared clean, the bulk of the unit was truly disgusting. I left my trip a day early so that I wouldn't have to stay here another night. The base boards next to your head where you sleep were literally covered in filth and there was an intact discarded gel polish nail between the bed and bedside table. The bathroom sink still had someone else's toothpaste in the drain. All of the smoke/carbon monoxide detectors were either missing or visibly missing their batteries. When I texted the owner bringing this to their attention and asking to please replace the batteries during my stay, I got a bizarre response and no one replaced the batteries. The portable AC's are extremely loud and attached to the windows with giant tubes, so unable to move, and the smell was awful without them. The floor going into the bathroom is at an angle and getting in and out of the unit exclusively through the back stairwell was burdensome and sketchy. The unit is clearly in rough shape and in my opinion, I would categorize the numerous patches and repairs as Landlord Special.
