This was a perfect property for us, as we visited our DesMoines relative from out of town. The host/owner was exceptionally responsive to all questions and needs. The hot tub was amazing!

So nice to soak!

Three of my girlfriends and I stayed here for a girls trip. The hot tub is what made us choose this property and it did not disappoint! We had a wonderful time soaking and chatting. Steve was a very helpful host with excellent communication and hospitality. The property was clean and comfortable. The check in and check out process was easy and the location was excellent. We look forward to staying here again

Family Fun

Cannot be more happy with our experience, Beautiful home and property located minutes from the airport. Very clean and spacious! Located close to restaurants and grocery stores. The owner was incredibe with communication and very accommodating! Would definitely recommend and if possible when we return later this year we will book this location again! Cant give higher than 5 stars or we would!

Great short stay

A few of my nursing school friends and I got together for an anniversary weekend. We did not spend a ton of time at the house, and we only stayed for one night, but it was very comfortable and easy to find. We used the hot tub, which was very relaxing, and we all slept great. Any communication we had with the property owner was replied to quickly, and he made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

I wish i knew about the person coming and going thats living in the garage, that was a little scary for me. Hot tub was great, master bedroom upstairs has lots of room. Living room was very large. Things need some repairs, but it was clean and quite. People mentioned the airport, never had a single issuewith it.issue with it.

Great location

We came for the Hillbilly Hike run and it was perfect. The location was great, close to things to do but not too close, perfect neighborhood. The owner was awesome, I had to contact him because some of the girls thought beeping was coming from the room. He found it in one of the girls purses, nothing to do with the house. I am happy that we found this little oasis in Des Moines!

Overall the place was perfect for my family and pet dog who loved the big yard and the family LOVED the hottub and outdoor cooking options and used them all. The bedrooms were large enough and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed. If an option for a washer/dryer was available for larger groups (over3 for more than 4days) it would be so convenient, and we could even wash the linens on the way out as is standard in several places I have stayed. The place seemed a bit dusty and may need to vacuum more including curtains and upstairs as well as furniture. However, we would certainly recommend this place as the owner was great and the location near the airport was super. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space. Thank you making our family reunion so easy and wonderful

This was such a great place for my friends and me to stay. We needed a nice comfortable place where we could spend an evening catching up and enjoying each other's company and this house was perfect for that. Stayed here with a handful of my buddies for the weekend of a wedding and the space was perfect! Being so close to the airport definitely saved us a ton of trouble. Plenty of room to hang out with more friends who were in town and the host was very accommodating of that!!

Lovely place for a family party

Had a lovely stay and had a small party with family and friends. Check-in was seemless, host quickly fixed a small issue with the WiFi. Mattresses were WONDERFUL. Furniture is eclectic but very comfy. Young adults loved the hot tub.

We didn’t use any of the outdoor features due to cold weather, but they looked inviting. Kitchen was furnished well. Popcorn popper was a fun amenity. Two queen beds and king bed were comfortable as were the cushy recliners in the living room. Futons, not so much. Nice big kitchen table. We were in town for a funeral and the location was perfect as it is close to the airport and hotels where other relatives were staying. It was a nice place for family members to come and visit. I would suggest to the owner to trim the branch that hangs low above the driveway and label the light switches.

Host was very nice, and prompt. There were some disappointments with the property. We really wanted to use the hibachi grill but it was rusted out. There was also a man who came and went to a building out back by playground and hot tub. Made my kids not want to be outdoors by themselves. Some of the pans need to be replaced and the sheets have stains. Its hopefully a work in progress as it has potential.

The house had spider webs in the doors and in the bathrooms,the steps going to the master bedroom are super steep, needs to be added to the website especially where people are handicapped as my husband is, needs to say it’s by the airport, needs to say his brother stays in the shop the whole time, bathrooms were dirty. Workout room is really cold, where it’s in a separate room right by the back door. Steve was super nice and really tried, just a lot of hidden things and was very dirty. I went and bought all new towels and Tupperware. There are no washer and dryer accommodations and the linen was not good. Trash cans were almost full when we got there so didn’t have anywhere to put our trash and it was Thanksgiving
