  • Step into Bluesky Breeze Cottage, a beautifully restored 1869 farmhouse where historic character blends seamlessly with modern amenities, creating a unique and inviting getaway. Fully renovated in 2016, this spacious retreat is designed for families or groups seeking a blend of relaxation, comfort, and island adventure.

    The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests across two floors. On the main level, you’ll find a queen-size bed and a bunk bed—double below and single above—perfect for kids. Upstairs, two queen-size beds and an additional single bed provide restful accommodations for the whole family. There are two full bathrooms: the main-level bath features a walk-in shower and full-size washer and dryer, while the upstairs bath offers a bathtub/shower combination. Please note that the two futons are reserved for emergencies only to prevent damage.

    Bluesky Breeze Cottage is equipped for modern living. The fully stocked kitchen includes a dishwasher, 8-cup coffee maker, stove/oven, and microwave—ideal for home-cooked meals. Climate control is a breeze with two heat pumps providing heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans in every room, and a backup oil furnace for cooler winter days. Stay connected with high-speed Starlink WiFi, and unwind with a Smart TV offering Netflix and YouTube.

The house itself is very good. It was equipped with whatever we needed and was spacious. There are 2 reasons why I rated 3 stars:1- the mosquitoes. There are soooooooooo many mosquitoes. We could not step outside without being bitten. We basically avoided the outside of the house all our trip. Maybe it's like that all over PEI, I don't know. 2- (and that one is a little on us too) the house is far from everything except Tignish. We had to drive a lot to get to all the other attractions. Overall and in summary: a good stay ruined by a million gazzilion mosquitoes.
