Property looked as if it had seen better better days, was not very clean and ran down. Restaurant that appeared to belong to hotel is now vacant and up for rent. On the plus side we did not pay a lot and this suited us having arrived late at night for a minimal stay but were glad to move on. Beach is about a ten minute walk.

The bedroom is very basic, bed is so hard, you might as well sleep on the floor. The old dark faded bed lining and old towels didn’t feel very clean and the room was generally in a state of disrepair. The beach was a good 20 min way, it takes forever to get there and there’s so much hassle on the way. The roads are very dirty and smelly, it makes very hard to walk on flip flops. Unfortunately nothing good on this one, staff not helpful and didn’t speak English.

Comfortable and affordable option
Just stayed overnight so didn’t have a chance to use the 3 pools. Room was large and pool facing. No towels till we requested and the reception staff hardly spoke English.

Close to shopping and night markets. Nice quiet street. Clean room and bathroom. Upstairs a bit tricky with suitcases as no lift. Overall had a lovely stay

A bit far from the beach, but we like it since its quiet. They tidy our villa daily but we didn't get any bottled water. Breakfast was great cause you can choose from a menu not a buffet but it is the same menu everyday.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Met people who have been there weeks and can see why! Lovely staff, breakfast and pool. We will be back.

Whilst this is not 5 star it offers everything we wanted for our stay. Yes you have to bring your own beach towel, hand towel and tea towel, tea bags, fly spray and mossie coils, all the rest is fantastic, especially for the price. comfy bed, great warm pool, basic but adequate breakfast and friendly staff, we enjoyed our stay immensely. walking distance to restaurants and quite nights away from the hussle. We would stay here again without question.

OMG !! I love this place. In all the trips I have had to Bali this is the BEST.!!! From the staff to the gourgous rooms , I cannot fault a thing . Location perfect away from the busy main road . Great warungs close by , night markets 5 min away... Bali perfection. Will be back , sadly not soon enough for my liking

Great location!
We received a free upgrade as we arrived early, which was greatly appreciated as it was our last night! Pool area is lovely and peaceful and location is great for going out in the evening. The villa itself was lovely but we did have a couple of issues with the safe not working properly however, this was quickly resolved by the friendly staff.

Good location
Huge space for the money we paid. The staff were lovely and helped us when we had a couple of issues with transport and airport transfer. Would recommend this villa to friends and family.

Really lovely stay. The gardens and pool are gorgeous, I came in March and it was very quiet. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, room was cleaned every day. It is located down a narrow lane but it was easy to find my way around walking by myself and I felt completely safe.

Oasis like pool & garden with big rooms
Amazing getaway with an Oasis like pool and garden right in front of the room with very affordable prices! Absolute relaxation after a day at the beach, on the scooter or e.g. 1-day trip to the islands. Nice service including a very generous breakfast, possibility to book a car service, scooter, laundry, etc. Restaurants, shopping and the beach all a walking distance away, however on the same street a wonderful Warung Dead Fish where we went three times during our stay! Would highly recommend, we ended up extending our stay just because of how relaxed we felt at Janan Villa after every day touring in Bali.

New, calm hotel in Sanur
The place is rather new so condition of the facilities was above standard. The room itself was also great, spacious with a full kitchenette and large bathroom. The swimming pool was also great for relaxing after day excursions to Denpasar or the Sanur beach. The only minus was the a bit off location from the main streets of Sanur. It is though easily reachable by car or foot, once you locate the right street.

Unterkunft war ruhig und sauber. Die Lokalität war traditionell . Ein balinesisches Haus mit allem, was dazu gehört. Sehr interessant. Vor der Haustür waren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, aber auch die Möglichkeit, an Reisfeldern spazieren zu gehen.

Bien dans l'ensemble. Petit Petit déjeuner très léger, une théière, 2 tranches de pain et un jus de fruit (brique) et c'est tout... Il faut aller a la boulangerie du coin.

Vores ophold på dette hotel var godt. Vi fik et andet værelse til at starte med, som var større end det vi havde bestilt. Vi spurte om at få et mindre, da vi synes det var lidt for stort og der var lidt der ikke virkede fx badekarets afløb. Vi fik et mindre værelse der passede bedre til os og det var dejligt. Det er et fint sted til pengene.

Janan villa. Fint hotell bra service.
Vistelsen på Janan Villa har varit mycket bra. Personalen som jobbar här är mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Hotellområdet är väldigt vackert med 2 pooler och massa gröna växter överallt. Skönt med AC på rummet. 2 minus egentligen är att 3 av 4 dagar fanns det inget varmvatten i duschen. Samt att hotellet ligger lite off. Man får gå ca 500 m på en ensam mörk gata, det var aldrig några problem dock utan funkade bra de 4 dagar vi bodde på hotellet.

This place is really awesome. Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice pool and lovely garden. I can really recommend anyone to stay here. Prices are however, as almost always, more expensive through booking sites as hotels. Better to book a night and then extend directly. You will save at least 50% even if the site shows "special prices".

Wunderschöne private Oase :-)
Woowww, eifach überwältigend! Ein Hauch von Luxus zu smartem Preis. Der Garten mit Pool, ein wahres Paradies! Die Apartments sind richtig grosse und tolle Wohnungen, optisch sehr schön und gut eingerichtet, ein Bild von gehobenem Standart. Wunderbar!

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le Janan villa! La chambre était très bien, la piscine sublime et le déjeuner copieux (je pense qu’il est peut-être un peu cher si vous devez le payer en supplément mais nous l’avions inclus dans le prix de notre chambre et c’était parfait!). Il faut marcher un peu pour se rendre à la plage mais, on vous prêtera un vélo si vous le demandez... En fait, on fera beaucoup pour vous si vous le demandez (avec le sourire!). Dama est super gentil! Je recommande sans hésitation cet hébergement.

中心地から離れているので、食事に出かけるのも海に行くのも不便である。キッチンが付いているが、長期滞在者以外は不要。タクシーを頼むと知り合いのブルーバード以外のタクシーでメーター使わず、１０倍の値段表示でもめた。

Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit car en transit pour Lembogan mais probablement l'hôtel avec le meilleur rapport qualité prix de tout notre voyage à Bali. La chambre était plutôt une maisonette en duplex avec des proportions très grandes et agréables. La salle d'eau proposait baignoire et douche dans un confort et hygiène irréprochable. La piscine est longue et propre. Le petit déjeuner copieux. Bref très bonne adresse, rien à redire !

Wir hatten mit unserer einjährigen Tochter einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Janan Villas. Zunächst bekamen wir ein kostenloses Upgrade in eins der zweistöckigen Studios (mit Küche, viel Stauraum und Platz zum Spielen). Der Pool war sauber, groß und wunderschön unter Bananenstauden gelegen mit ein bisschen Grünfläche zum spielen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichlich. Mittag- oder Abendessen konnten wir liefern lassen, derzeit wird aber ein Restaurant im vorderen Bereich gebaut (haben aber gar keinen Baustellenlärm gehört). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und zum Hotel gehört auch ein Fahrer der sehr nett war. Die Lage ist recht zentral, zur Hauptstraße läuft man 5-10 Minuten, zum Strand dann nochmals 5.

Très bon accueil. Hôtel propre. Très grande chambre sous forme de studio. Espace extérieur séduisant avec sa piscine sous les bananiers très appréciables pour se protéger du soleil. Personnel professionnel et à l'écoute. En retrait de l'agitation. Rue principale à qques minutes à pied. Très bon et copieux petit déjeuner. Hôtel à recommander.

Charmant endroit, on a de la peine à le quitter
La chambre qui donne directement sur la piscine (suffisamment grande pour nager) avec une jolie terrasse toute équipée est spacieuse et jolie. En octobre pas complet donc très tranquille, j'ai adoré cet endroit!

Bra personal och med ägare nära till hands som är trevliga samt mycket omtänksamma Vi hade en jättefin vistelse på " the Janan villa ", lungt område med ca:1/2 kilometer till den större gatan med allt du behöver. Lokala matställen med balinesisk basmat, utmärkt !

Séjour de deux nuits, on en a pris une troisième. C'est vraiment un chouette hôtel. Piscine géniale, petit-déjeuner génial. Un léger bémol sur la connexion internet qui ne se fait qu'à l'accueil et assez difficile.
