The beds are comfortable and the water pressure in the showers is great. Very close to Glendon Beach. The appliances and bathroom are a little outdated. No air conditioning, but who cares, you're not supposed to be indoors at a beach vacation! Now the bad. When we arrived, there was garbage around the garbage bins. (Dirty Diapers and plastic bottles). The patio umbrella was broken and the BBQ grill hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. We picked up the garbage and cleaned the grill. I blame it on the previous renters and the cleaning services. Robert Paul Properties compensated us with 2 extra hours of relaxation on our departure day. We were pleasantly surprised upon checking in that the pictures online do not do this place justice, it is a hidden gem filled with cape charm. When our normal cape vacation plans were changed this year, we lucked out in finding this rental. While we we basically looking for a clean, safe, private place that was walkable to the beach - we ended up in a well taken care of house in the perfect location. While not a luxury rental, it really has everything you need to enjoy your week. The bedrooms are small, but the beds were comfortable with the mattress toppers that were provided. Plenty of storage to tuck away everything we brought and the decent sized deck and nice sized yard allowed us to expand our living area to outside. There is a great updated outdoor shower, which makes up for the fact that the bathroom is a little small. The kitchen is also on the smaller side, but Has everything you need for vacation cooking. The location can’t be beat, just a short walk to a private beach, walkable to the sailing cow cafe, and just a short drive to many other great restaurants.
