"What we like : - It’s a nice hotel with plenty of art work & localized in a beautiful & natural place - Their breakfast is good and we like what we ate at their restaurant. - There are great amenities for kids : kids room, playground, outdoor chess… It’s a nice place for families. What we don’t like : - Swimming pool was too cold. - Our room was very dark. It’s a pity for a suite. - And the main pain point was the staff which was very unhelpful : no advice regarding the area or the hotel : they gave us the keys, that’s it. They did’nt help us for finding a bike adapted to the size of our son or to charge our car… It’s a pity."

"We stayed at Hotel Op Diek for a weekend girls’ trip, and it was the perfect choice! The location in Den Hoorn is peaceful yet close enough to explore Texel easily by car. The hotel itself has such a cozy and welcoming vibe — you can feel it’s a former farmhouse with a lot of charm. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was a highlight — fresh, local, and with plenty of choice to start the day right. It was the perfect base for exploring Texel and also for just unwinding together after a fun day out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a warm, authentic, and relaxing stay on Texel. Would definitely come back! 🌸✨ "
