Begin the morning with espresso beneath the trees. Spend the day skiing, hiking, biking, or exploring the Mt. Baker area. Then return to the warmth of your private indoor sauna and an intimate cabin that feels tucked away from everything.



Inside, rich wood tones, deep blues, glossy green cabinetry, and custom lighting give Skywood a personality all its own. Large windows frame the surrounding forest, while glimpses of Church Mountain may appear above the trees on clear days.



Designed for up to four guests, Skywood is especially well suited for couples, two couples traveling together, or friends looking for a peaceful mountain escape.

THE SPACE

The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for relaxed meals at home. Locally roasted coffee and tea are provided, along with both a Breville espresso machine and a Cuisinart drip coffee maker for unhurried mountain mornings.



After a day outside, warm up in the private indoor sauna, rinse off in one of the two full bathrooms, and retreat to comfortable beds dressed with quality linens.

Skywood is located inside Snowline, a peaceful gated community near the small restaurants and shops of Glacier, Washington.



Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 35 minutes away, making the cabin a convenient base for skiing and snowboarding in winter and hiking, mountain biking, scenic drives, and river adventures during the warmer months.



The community also offers a seasonal outdoor pool, walking trails, a playground, open recreational areas, and a quiet, park-like forest setting.



Whether you come for fresh powder, summer trails, or a few quiet days beneath the evergreens, Skywood gives you a memorable place to return to at the end of every adventure.

Bordering the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, Snowline offers a quiet, park like setting where guests can enjoy fresh mountain air, walking trails, a playground, open recreational areas, tennis courts, and a seasonal outdoor community pool.



The pool typically operates from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, depending on weather, maintenance, and the community schedule.



The small restaurants and shops of Glacier are just minutes away, while Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 35 minutes from the home. Hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, river activities, and some of the North Cascades’ most memorable scenery are all within easy reach.



Snowline offers the privacy of a gated forest community with convenient access to the year round adventures of the Mt. Baker area.

CHILD SAFETY



Because of the home’s open log stairwell, Skywood is not suitable for children under five years old.



FIREPLACE



The original wood-burning fireplace is decorative only and is not available for guest use. We will update the listing once the planned replacement insert has been fully installed and approved for guest use.



COMMUNITY POOL



The outdoor pool is a shared community amenity and is available seasonally, typically from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Hours and availability are controlled by the community and may change because of weather, maintenance, or other circumstances.



DOGS



Up to two dogs are welcome with the required pet fee. Dogs must be at least one year old, kept off beds and furniture, leashed within the community, and may not be left unattended in the home. Please clean up after your pets and help us protect the home and the surrounding neighborhood.



PARKING AND GATE ACCESS



Parking is limited to the designated driveway area. Street parking is not permitted within Snowline. Vehicle information must be provided before arrival so we can register all vehicles with the community.



COMMUNITY RULES



Snowline is a quiet residential community. Guests are asked to observe community quiet hours, leash requirements, parking rules, and the prohibition on outdoor campfires.



MOUNTAIN WEATHER



Weather can change quickly in the North Cascades. Snow, ice, heavy rain, falling branches, and occasional power interruptions are part of traveling in a rural mountain environment. An all-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive vehicle is strongly recommended during winter conditions.



WI-FI AND CELL SERVICE



The home has fiber WiFi suitable for remote work and streaming. Streaming subscriptions are not included, so please bring your own account information.



Cellular service remains limited throughout Glacier and the surrounding mountain communities. Internet and power service may occasionally be interrupted by storms, regional outages, or fallen trees. Because these services are outside the host’s control, related interruptions do not qualify for refunds.



WILDLIFE



Skywood is surrounded by an active forest ecosystem. Deer, raccoons, mice, bats, bears, bobcats, insects, and other wildlife live throughout the area. Please keep doors closed and never leave food, pet food, or garbage outside.



GROCERIES AND DINING



For a full grocery shop, we recommend purchasing provisions before arriving. Glacier has a handful of small markets and restaurants, but selections and seasonal operating hours can be limited.
