"Diese Ferienhaus kann man nur empfehlen! Ruhige Lage inmitten dem schönen Pfälzerwald mit unendlichen Wanderwegen. Tolle, sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht - inclusive einem voll bestückten Getränkekühlschrank zu sehr moderaten Preisen...Und der Pool im großen Garten lädt mit geheiztem Wasser zum Schwimmen ein.Der sehr nette, humorvolle Besitzer gibt bei Bedarf Tipps zur Umgebung. "Die ruhige, idyllische Lage in dem schönen kleinen Dörfchen Rumbach innerhalb herrlicher Natur fern vom Tourismus ist wunderbar! Ganz besonders hatte es uns die so stilvoll und gemütlich renovierte, rundum perfekt ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in dem alten kleinen Fachwerkhäuschen angetan und der sehr nette herzliche Kontakt mit den Gastgebern! Wir sind dankbar für die erholsame Auszeit und kommen baldmöglichst wieder:-)"

"We had the most amazing stay here! The view was beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, and the house was equipped with everything we could ever need. Peter was a gracious host, he surprised us with welcome treats and very responsive with any questions we had. There were quite a few stairs to get the home, but don’t let it deter you. "Pros: Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Kurzurlaub in dieser geräumigen, gemütlichen und liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung. Vom Balkon hat man einen wahnsinns Blick! "The apartment is wonderful and the hosts are excellent! They speak English, French and German. The property is situated in a quiet town that is near major attractions (crystal making & the historic town of Bitchie) and stores. You are also close to the German border. As for the accomodation, it is a spacious modern apartment with two large bedrooms and a large bathroom. Excellent for families or two couples. One of the nicer places to stay and highly recommended!"

"We could walk to the central train station in 8 minutes. Buses are also available there. We took a Flixbus to and from the Frankfurt Airport. There was shopping within walking distance; bakeries, laundrymat, grocery store, ice cream and pizza. A longer walk took us to sight-seeing locations like the Japanese Garden. The morning breakfast is worth the cost. The staff are professional and helpful."

The food does not come with the room youll have to pay extra. Very tasty tho. The workers treated us very nice compared to the rudeness we endured throughout Germany. "We (family of 4 + dog) have stayed here overnight every year on our way to the south and we love it! Beautiful location (garden, woods, quiet, water feature), yet Zweibrücken’s excellent shopping outlet is just 2 minutes away by car. The rooms are comfortable and our dog was allowed to join us for dinner and breakfast (as an observer). There are two restaurants, but best to reserve a table in advance as the venue is often used for weddings (being a picturesque location). Highly recommended, and we shall return next summer!"

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."
