Fully Furnished Two Bedroom Farm House, "The Little House" Has Everything !

  • The Little House was the first home built on Arcadia Ridge Estate, Imon, Ruth & Linda Folsom moved to their farm land in the early 1950's from Billstown Arkansas, The Little House was built sometime in the 1930's from a much older house that stood in the same spot, the walls and floors still show square nails that were used from the original home, rich heart pine floors have been restored, along with doors, ceilings, and the over all charm of a farm house, it has a long front porch all the way across the front, turn around kitchen with full size appliances., living room has TV & DVD player only, so bring your DVDs for movies at night, the dining room has table for four, front bedroom has Queen bed, second BR has two long twin beds.

The Little House

The place was perfect for my family!

The setting was great and we enjoyed exploring the property! The house was lovely, private, and very comfortable. There was a lot of space around the house, and we enjoyed short walks in the morning and early evening. It was also a great location to the Crater Diamond State Park and close to town. DeWayne was an amazing host and provided information about the area including places to visit. We had a great time and plan to come back soon!

We really enjoyed our vacation! And the Little House was in the perfect location for us to go where we wanted. And our daughter fell in love with the 4 cows that would come up to the fence across the road and would let her pet them. She named the brown one Wendy do to the w on her face lol. There is no fence around yard,it wasn't safe for kids the catage was so close to the road,it was so old and unclean,there was deed bugs and bee was on the floor.I wish I could give mines star .

Best New Year Ever

Awesome property reminded me of my great grandparents home on a cattle ranch in Texas. Got to dig in the rocks and knock Crater of Diamonds off our bucket list… the owner is one of kind. Might not get lucky at the crater but we found a jewel at the little house!

Superb Communication

Listen, we loved everything about our stay and the home. It was quite cozy and worked well for our family. What I aim to highlight is the incredible communication the homeowner had with us. He was on the ball and went well above and beyond the scope to help us feel comfortable and at ease with how to find things in town and such. I would give this place an A++ even if it was a “dump” (which it was NOT) just based on the communication skills alone. Wonderful trip and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Cute bungalow with southern charm

Cute southern charm. Loved the property and the owners have just about all the amenities of home. We do think adding a few more kitchen utensils and a newer coffee pot would have added to the ease of cooking our own meals. But we did let the property owners know. It had a fire pit, charcoal grill and lawn chairs you could relax near the fire or watch the sunset from the front porch.

Lovely little house

We had an absolutely amazing stay! Dewayne was very communicative and super easy to work with. The house we quaint and just like stepping back in time. It was just far enough out of town to not be bothered, but close enough that we were close to everything we wanted to do!
