The hosts were awesome. Very friendly and attentive. The cabin couldn't have been more perfect. The hot tub was an amazing finish to each day. Highly highly recommend the banty rooster.
Good location close to Gatlinburg pigeon Forge really anything you want to see hot tub was a plus cabin was beautiful. The owner is on premises very friendly. Nice to get to know them very informative all around. Just a great experience. Loved it. Highly recommended to anybody
Such a beautiful cozy place! Somebody put a good amount of work to make it and it shows! The sliding doors were pretty neat. The fireplace with the TV. The hot tub with the string lights. The fire pit. They got some nice air fresheners plugged in that keep it smelling warm and welcoming. Plenty of nice places to eat nearby and stores. But away enough to have privacy and peace. And such a big piece of land. Beautiful area the owners have. And the keypad check in is always convenient and nice to have. Would stay in it again! And my girlfriend loved the snacks and welcome sign. It always makes it feel special!
Exceeded any expectations. We were greeted by a cute "fireplace" that was glowing in the darling main room. A super unexpected surprise awaited me, wishing me a happy 60th birthday. Cozy bed, clean bathroom/laundry facilities. Treats were placed around in clever containers and the dishes were so cute. The Banty Rooster is a special place. The owners make their guests feel special and they really put thought and care into everything. Loved it ;-)
First off all we loved that the property was just far enough out to feel like we got away from it all but still had plenty of restaurants and shopping in the nearby town. Didn’t mind the lack of cell service. The WiFi made it to where we could keep up with family back home. The whole purpose of the trip was to unplug and recharge and that’s exactly what we got. Plus the added bonus of a flock of wild turkeys in the backyard every morning while I was having my coffee was cool. Our hosts were quick to help and easy to get in touch with For the very minor problems we ran into.
My husband and I stayed here for a small weekend getaway. The cabin was so cute and cozy. Very clean and smelled so good. We fell in love with this cabin in a remote location away from almost everything. We finally used the hot tub on our last night and was amazing. Eric and Tammy were such great hosts and communicated so well with us.
Only an hour from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
We loved it and plan to come back again! Thanks so much for your hospitality’
Awesome cabin, great host! Super clean and well maintained, online pics don’t do the the property justice. Walked in and there’s flowers for our anniversary and a bucket full of treats. I don’t trust yelp so I messaged the host late at night for food suggestions and I got a message back in less than 10 minutes. Will definitely be back next year!
The cabin is very beautiful and smells of fresh wood throughout. All the features of the cabin are very nice to the kitchen, living room, bedroom, shower and bathroom. The hottub and deck are also so nice with lights and a privacy fence. The next door property is close but was never an issue and so we felt alone and safe. A wonderful home away the bustle of it all. Hot Springs was within 30 minutes and so I recommend getting a reservation to soak in the springs and also go to the quaint, delicious restaurants downtowm in Hot Springs. Great vacation! The owners left us treats and a sign that made up feel so welcomed and tons of helpful information on the cabin, A/C unit, wifi, TV, etc.
We so enjoyed our stay at the Banty Rooster! With the WiFi we did not miss out on much, but it was so nice to not receive as many calls/texts as normal. My husband and I celebrated our 11th anniversary. Tammy left us wine and flowers for our arrival.
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to drive into town at Hot Springs, NC for live music at The Big Pillow Brewery and then took at dip at the Hot Springs Resort. We enjoyed breakfast at The Smoky Mountain Diner and Fox Den Restaurant. Also, we had a delicious steak at Fox and Hounds Restaurant.
We truly enjoyed the rural and slower pace! We even made it to an estate sale up the road and found a couple of great finds!
Thanks again to Eric and Tammy for being such gracious hosts and sharing this treasure with us!
Host was very accommodating, very nice place, clean, all amenities, great views, easy access and quiet location. We stayed during a very cold weekend and enjoyed our stay.
We loved spending our Valentines weekend at this nice, cozy cabin! It was perfect for just the two of us. The personalized chalk board, bottle of wine, and chocolates were such a welcoming touch. We loved every second of our time here and look forward to coming back!

Had no WIFI or the ability to make or recieve calls. Next time you guys need to lead with NO phone services available when welcoming us the day of check in. Cabin was cozy but back porch was a mess and my wife got stung by a bee taking off hot tub cover! We actually only stayed 1 day and came back home! And still waiting on that call back from host...
Cabin was perfect exactly what we were looking for nice and clean host was very communicative and left us a nice welcome package with it being our honeymoon. will definitely return highly recommend
We had such a nice time in this cabin. It was cozy private and over wonderful time spent. The hosts were wonderful and made the experience welcoming! Thank you so much for your hospitality
I can't speak highly enough of the property and the hosts. I had to reschedule my trip twice, and they were so understanding and helpful. After finally getting to enjoy their gorgeous cabin this past weekend, I can honestly say that it's absolutely the best vacation rental I've ever stayed in, hands down. They have thought of EVERYTHING to make this little cabin perfect, and it was so appreciated.
Love this cabin! Great hospitality and communication! The personal touches for our stay were lovely. Was great to unplug and enjoy some much needed relaxation. Also not far from Pigeon Forge and local flea markets! Will definitely be back!
The cabin was very nice. It was the perfect get away. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Wish we had booked for longer. Only thing I would do is add Wi-Fi just to help with looking for things to go out and do and incase people need to stay in touch with others at home. Since there is little to no service at the cabin. Other than that it couldn’t have been anymore perfect! Would definitely come back again.
Check-in/Check-out was very easy.Cabin is very clean and spacious. Large open kitchen and barn doors.Hot tub was excellent. The backdoor to the hot tub was stuck.Despite many efforts by the property manager,it did not open. So we had to use the front doorto access the hot tub, which is a bit inconvenientin the evening hours due to total darkness. Butwatching the night sky from the comfort of the hot tub is priceless. The views around the cabin are not so great. There is acorn field on one side, road in the front, a commercialbuilding on one side and empty lot in the back. Sittingon the chairs outside the cabin under a large tree wasreally nice, and surprisingly there we no bugs or insects. For groceries, convenience store, dining or any activities, you will need to go 12 miles to Newport TN. If you are looking to just lay back, relax and use the hot tub, thisis great. For any other activities, check the maps to findout how far they are located.
