We were very impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the Eagles Nest. It was very cute and Michelle had thought of everything needed to make the stay great. We even walked in to fresh blueberry scones that were delicious. We will definitely stay again when back in the area

Perfect Couple Retreat
Our stay was for my husband's 64th birthday. It was the perfect place for a couple. Very comfy and clean. Michelle was on point with communication and directions prior to the trip. Treat yourself, and include a meal at Sweetie Pie's Ribeyes during your stay.

Perfect place
This place is absolutely perfect. It is so cute inside and out. The house is exceptionally clean. The place looks like it should be in a magazine. I took pictures for ideas for my own house. The deck in the trees is serene with a sweet little table and chairs for coffee. The property managers were also perfect. They were incredibly helpful, kind and great communication. It is in a very beautiful area and very quiet. If I need to stay over in Decatur again this is where I’ll be.

A great weekend getaway
This is really an amazing place. Some years back Susan and I started staying at VRBO places instead of hotels because most of the time you can get or find a good deal and typically out by itself. I'm not much of a social person so it works...lol. So we have stayed at quite a few VRBO's and i have to say this was the cleanest we've stayed at...not saying the others weren't clean but this one was just a little step above...we enjoyed our stay and this place was a big part of it.

My wife and I were more than pleased with the Eagle's Nest. Everything is first-class, neat, clean, organized (great little kitchen area), comfortable--everything we were looking for and more. Plus the property is outside of town so it's relatively quiet (occasional trucks and cars on the nearby highway, which is hidden well by trees). Very attentive hosts who were quick to respond to any of our inquiries. You'll love it here.
