Great location and faciilities. Hosts (Eric & Lisa) were very responsive to the one issue we had with the TV/video/DVD hookup. Hot tub was perfect. Location allowed us to visit other nearby spots to hike, eat, etc. But some days we simply stayed at the cabin since everything we needed was right there.

We enjoyed our 2 night getaway! The cabin has everything you need for a cozy stay. The hot tub was a big hit with our teenage kids as well as the board games and puzzles that are there already. There was ample space to spread out and nice areas to gather and make memories. My only suggestion would be to bring your own coffee for the machine provided. There was fortunately a nice little gas station in town where I could get my morning fix! The highlight was sitting in the hot tub while it was snowing and seeing the occasional deer right off of the deck.

Murph’s Hideaway

My husband and I needed a little getaway and we are so glad we chose Murph’s Hideaway. The cabin is peaceful and charming but has all the comforts of home. We very much explored being able to sit out on the deck and just listening to the birds singing and watching the momma deer with her twin babies. The local towns are nice and friendly. We highly recommend this location and would love to book a return trip at some point.

The cabin was great in all respects. Great location, great communication with the property manager. Very clean and well equipped. We rented the cabin to relax with the family and explore the area. Hiking Wyalusing State Park was the highlight for us.

Great place to unwind. Property was clean and spacious enough for even our group of 8 adults. We did bring extra toiletries and blankets, would also recommend bringing additional towels too (especially if you plan to use the hottub). We would definitely stay with Knutson Properties again.

Property was just as advertised. We needed help with the tv as I’m not good at that and the nicest gentleman came to our rescue almost immediately. Property is quiet and hot tub is in a private area. Nice bar in Ferryville called Wooden Nickle only a short distance away. Good food and people. Driftless area is well worth checking out. We had a family if deer each day I would recommend this cabin.

Weekend wedding

We attended a wedding at Vernon Vineyard and this was a great alternative to a hotel in La Crosse. We had our own mini vacation in a beautiful setting. Loved the hot tub and the cabin was perfect with all the different levels. This allowed the couples to have privacy yet plenty of space to gather together for meals, drinks & games. The neighborhood rooster was hilarious and the view in the fall will only be more beautiful.

The communication with Eric was great. Loved the location. The floor in the loft needs a sweep. Otherwise the house is really clean. Deck and the hot tub is real nice. Only complaint I would have is the fire pit is basically a pile of some rocks with no chairs.

Relaxing Getaway

My wife and I came here for 3 nights in late August and absolutely loved it! The area is very quiet and relaxing--the property is down a dead end gravel road which also has a good view of the Mississippi River at the end of the road. There was no truck or motorcycle traffic or businesses nearby, only the occasional sound of the chickens across the road. The neighbors were very friendly, too, and we enjoyed talking with them! The cabin itself was clean, spacious, and had good natural light. We liked the fireplace in the living room and ate several meals on the back deck/overhang. We appreciated the cabin is dog-friendly, too. I would definitely come back. Thank you!
