The house itself is very beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The location right in the center and close to the sea is excellent. However, first and foremost, the cleanliness in the house. Plates and glasses were sticky and sometimes dirty. When emptying the trash cans, we noticed that the trash can in the upper bathroom still contained trash from the previous guests, which had simply been left under the new trash bag. In the garden, disposable gloves were lying on the ground, and the clothes rack was empty and unfolded in front of the patio door. On top of that, there are a few things that are simply stated differently in your brochures: there is no working coffee machine. The drip coffee maker takes about 45–60 minutes to make a pot of coffee, which is lukewarm at best. The advertised Nespresso machine isn’t equipped with the right pods; they’re too big for the machine. And of course, we would have liked to know that your house is technically not accessible by car and that this has caused a lot of tension in the neighborhood. In fact, all suitcases must be carried 150 meters along an unpaved road. It would have been fair to point out this circumstance—for which the landlord is not to blame—in advance, so that guests would have the opportunity to reconsider their destination.
