Clean and spacious room, with a full kitchen (although I didn't use). A complimentary bottle of wine upon checking in, as well as 2 bottles of water daily are provided, which is a very nice gesture. One drawback: the wall outlets are generally not suitable for most international travelers, but it should be easy to borrow an adapter from the front desk.
Breakfast is decent, and the Chinese/Japanese restaurant at the hotel is pretty good. Other than that, one needs to go a bit farther distance to find good restaurants.

Our stay at The Quarters was wonderful. The apartment is located in walking distance to VA Waterfront and surrounding grocery market SAR. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

"Everything was immaculate. Welcoming hosts. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Whale watching from room was amazing and good sightings along the bay too. Room was beautiful and well equipped with thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend as a better alternative to staying in Hermanus."
