Traveled solo with two young kids and it was fabulous! Very clean and super helpful staff. Sheila at the bar/restaurant was absolutely amazing and we had a great time. Breakfast spread was fabulous and I can't say enough nice things about the staff running breakfast. Never made us feel rushed or unwelcome. 10/10 experience with zero complaints.

This was our first time staying at Residence Inn, the overall experience was great, breakfast was good, the beach view was nice, the room was clean, and pool was nice as well. We liked everything about the hotel.

The room was as described, clean and no complaints at all. Staff was helpful and nice. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The only complaints would be the pool is not heated as advertised. Its actually colder then the ocean. I complained on day 1 and she said maintenance would look at it and it wasn't heated the next day either. They let you borrow chairs for the beach, which is nice, but the first one was broken do to rusting and the second was dripping rusty water from inside it. All on all I would definitely stay again.

My wife and I travel to the Daytona Beach area every few months, to check on a relative. We have stayed at several “On the Beach Hotels” this was by far our favorite. The entire staff was very welcoming treating their guests like family. We will be staying here on our future visits.

Checking in wasn’t very helpful. I basically got my key and went on my way, nobody explained to me the restaurant, breakfast times, how to get towels for the pool, etc that normally is discussed during check in. The staff was incredibly nice and did answer any question. The room was very clean, however the shower didn’t drain well so we would leave and come back and there’s still a puddle of water. I also think it’s ridiculous to pay for parking at a place that I’m paying per night for but that’s just my opinion.

I selected the Residence Inn for convenience of having a kitchen and more room than a normal hotel and that was just as expected. Clean room, clean hallway, elevators, lobby, pool, but the hotel exterior needs cleaning and painting. We did not eat breakfast at buffet so I cannot review, the pool was clean and very spacious with many loungers and umbrellas, and parking was simple.
