It is definitely a unique place to stay . We enjoyed it very much, thanks to the warm and friendly staff. It was very near the places we wanted to visit.
It is a wonderful safe area to stay. I enjoyed how clean the rooms were. It smelled so good just walking in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were nicely sized and offered just what I was looking for. It was also very convenient that I was able to visit several different cities in multiple directions without being subjected to the bigger cities. I loved my stay and will stay here again and again.
Staff was excellent. Very helpful. Hotel clean but quite old. Excellent location for our weekend needs. Packy's was great service and food! Recommend just remember building is old.
Super helpful staff. Good price and for hotel room. 12:00 check out is nice. Cleaning staff kept trying to come in way to early but didn’t have do not disturb on door. Definitely would stay again.
The hotel was easy to find and close to the National Air Force Museum. Great night’s sleep. Although the breakfast was 9.00, it was very much worth it. Will stay again!
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the facilities appeared clean and maintained. My only issue was the smell of musty/mildew in our room that suggested a previous water problem hasn't been fully addressed. I was only there for 1 night otherwise I would have asked to move rooms. The location is perfect if you have business on base and I would go back again and give them a second chance.
I was pleasantly surprised with the furnishings and amenities. For the price I was expecting something more spartan. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The walls must not have had much sound-deadening, however, since I could hear my neighbor sneeze. The staff was friendly and very helpful and breakfast was served in their restaurant at a buffet table... eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, toast and Danish, juice and coffee/tea (but no decaf). Since I used Expedia to book the room, breakfast was not included (cost was $8.95). The hotel is a little out of the way location-wise but I will go back.
Menu at restaurant was a little limited. The staff of the hotel and restaurant were excellent. The mattresses were a little firm for my liking. Counter staff could not have been better. Extremely helpful and courteous . Parking was good and access was good.
The staff was pleasant, but the bed was very uncomfortable, and its cleanliness was concerning. There were visible spots on the side of the bed, and the bedding appeared worn, with filling that had become uneven and bunched up from repeated washing. Both the mattress and bedding need to be replaced. I also experienced itching throughout my stay. I cannot say what caused it or whether bedbugs were involved, but it added to my discomfort.
The room itself was okay. Although the hotel is older, that did not bother me. My main concern was having a clean, comfortable bed.
The elevators also need attention. One was out of service, and the door on the working elevator began closing before I could finish exiting, which raised a safety concern. Replacing the beds and bedding and servicing the elevators would greatly improve the guest experience.
