Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here. There is a bar and restaurant on the property both were good they’re special the night we came in was prime rib and it was very good. We were all surprised but our one night stay turned out very nice

Bear Lodge

I love the mountains. Bear Lodge was disappointing...the room had a broken recliner abd the bed was very uncomfortable. Realizing the resort is just opening up for summertime but property is not being upkept.

The room did not have a microwave, the doors in the lodge and to the room were sticky and difficult to open, the key to the room and the door was difficult to operate, the fan in the bathroom was as loud as a freight train, the restaurant tables were dirty, and the entire place needed a facelift. The staff, however, are lovely and accommodating.

Bear Lodge is an amazing place to stay! We loved every minute from the warm welcome, to the great bar, the awesome breakfast, the helpful staff and the amazing nature location. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, and serene spot in nature, this is it!

The lodge said they could not confirm our room. In the end they gave us a room and said they would comp us the cost. Since we had already paid not sure how they figured they comped us anything. Owner said Expedia was not confirming rooms and we were the 10 th guests to show up. They tried to blame Expedia and I said no way. I am a gold member so the problem must be on their end.

The bar area was very rowdy and loud unril 2 oclock in morning. My room was at the very end of hall and i could still hear them. They need a door to shut off rooms from the bar area.might have helped.
