Dauphin island is beautiful
The condo suited us perfectly and was a perfect place to stay for a family girls trip. The only complaint I have was the king bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard. A mattress topper would be a huge improvement!

Quiet, non-touristy beach getaway
Condo was great. Very spacious and nicely decorated. Balcony was huge! Sad the ocean is so far away from the condo. You can see it, but can't really hear it like other beachfront condos. But I think this is due to hurricanes in the past reshaping the island. To get to the ocean you have to walk about 1/4 mile. The boardwalk only goes so far, then you have to walk through several tide pools, before you get to the ocean. Finding food was tricky. There are a few small places across the street but they open late and close early or sometimes were short on food or staff. And the larger restaurants were so packed there'd be an hour wait. So, either time everything just right or plan to cook. If you cook, just know the kitchen isn't fully equipped with everything. There was no cutting board, and limited on measuring cups, no salt, and a few other things I noticed would be nice to have. One annoyance was that I was emailed the gate codes, but when we arrived, they didn't work. Turns out I was texted day of with a pdf attachment with new gate codes. So that took a minute to figure out. Then they only gave us 1 parking pass and 2 key cards. We had 2 cars and 4 adults. Then one key card stopped working. I called and left a voicemail afterhours, but never got a call back. I decided to see if the front desk downstairs could help and they gave us 4 new key cards. Lockbox outside unit didn't work. Overall though, good trip and would come again. No major complaints.

Great Trip to Dauphin Island
The condo was great for a family of four. Condo was clean, loved the large balcony and close to the beach/ocean. Our family enjoyed the Island being on Island time. This was our family's first time at Dauphin Island and look forward to many more to come.
