"Dauphin Island has become our happy place. The house views were stunning, the wildlife amazing, and the beach wasn't crowded at all. It was exactly the kind of quiet trip our family needed. The house itself was clean, well appointed, and the furniture was genuinely comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the plethora of beach towels and toys.A couple of practical notes for future renters: there's a decent amount of loose, deep sand in the driveway, so if you're driving a minivan (we have a Honda Odyssey), you may want to park a little further back to avoid getting stuck—not a big deal for us with just one vehicle, but worth knowing. Also, there's no gate on the upper deck, which was totally fine for us as our kids are older but could be a consideration if you're traveling with toddlers.None of that took away from our stay in the slightest. We loved it so much we already rebooked for the future. Highly recommend!"
