About this property

Enjoy an outstanding ocean rental on a sparsely populated island

  • This property is located in the Melrose Resort which is on Daufuskie Island. For those not familiar with Daufuskie it is an island without a bridge located about a mile south of Hilton Head. It is accessible by Ferry or boat. Cars a not readily transported for vacation stays. There are great views of the Atlantic Ocean, Hilton Head Island and Tybee Island from most rooms and the multiple porches and decks.
    The home is on the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course overlooking the 17th fairway.
    There are 3 oceanside master suites each with its own Jacuzzi tub. There are three oceanside decks and three landward decks. There is a screened porch of the kitchen for outdoor dining. The home has three separate living areas and two laundry rooms. There is a second refrigerator for extra food and a wine cooler with wet bar.
    Portions of the Melrose Resort remain closed including the Inn and the golf course. The Corakko Beach Club restaurant is open and the pool is open on a seasonal basis.
