My wife Iris and I ended our trip in Malaysia and returned home a few days ago. Now thousands of miles away from Langkawi Island, we miss the gorgeous sunset at Kayaputi and the plunge pool of our room. "Mamak is a 3-minute walk across from Hotel Asia, super close to the jetty pier and Saturday night market. Water station to refill bottles is much appreciated."

"Clean rooms, rent scooters for RM 45 per day. Clean room upon request. Officr only open 9am-6pm. Very far away from tourist areas. Car or scooter will be required. "

There was ample parking. The property is dated Ave requires renovations, however it was OK.

"It’s a budget friendly hotel with all the basic amenities needed especially for solo, business or even small groups . It’s not fancy but the location is okay and the staff, especially Dan, is very friendly and helpful. Wifi and the shower (hot water) worked perfectly . "
