All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was nice and roomy. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. Also My grandchildren really enjoyed the pool.

Staff is great the hotel is Satisfactory.
The staff was extremely friendly. The room was nice but there were hand and foot prints on the wall. The water in the shower was warm at best and the tub drained slowly so you were standing in dirty water while showering. Breakfast was okay but a little lighter then I expected from the Hampton Inn.

What a lovely surprise! I was greeted upon arrival with WELCOME HOME! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. My room was so spacious and clean. I enjoyed the free coffee and treats. When I left I was so surprised to have a to go bag with water and goodies! That is really EXCELLENT customer service and going that extra mile makes guests want to come back! I will see you again during my next visit to Danville. Thank you! You all are doing a terrific job!

The overall property itself was clean and modern, you can tell it was remodel a few yrs ago. My issue was the poor communication and the lack of concern desk staff showed upon my checking in issue. After a long 6 hr drive, the hotel wasn’t able to completely honor my reservation. Upon check in I was told the remaining king bed room I reserved didn’t have a working tv. I was offered a double bed room, if I don’t want the room without a working tv. Or the option to completely cancel my reservation, all of the options are completely acceptable. It was way it was passively relayed to me, kind of a take it or leave it. A simple phone call would have sufficed, informing me of what’s going on before I has arrived. The area itself doesn’t have many options in terms of higher quality hotels, this is one of the better lower expectation hotels that’s still over charging for the area. That interaction for me brings them down to a 3 star rating.

Shower lever wasn’t attached all the way so could barely get the shower on, no soap to shower with, and a coworker’s room had all the hookups for a tv and wall mount…just no TV.

I chose Hampton Inn on my daughter’s recommendation. I had my 12 year old grandson with me, so the breakfast buffet was a huge hit!!! The indoor pool was a factor when looking for and booking a room in Danville, VA. In comparing the price with other hotels in this area, Hampton Inn had the best amenities for the best price!!! After staying there, I can say that I felt like it was the best value. The minute you walk thru the door, you’re greeted & welcomed to the premises. I had a reservation, so my registration took only a couple of minutes. They offered free bottled water at the desk, along with hot coffee & hot chocolate packets. There was two containers of hot water to make the instant packets of coffee & chocolate. My room was clean, inviting; the tv welcomed me with my name on screen and my grandson thought that was the greatest thing!!!! Two wonderful beds, a desk, a microwave and a mini fridge that can keep anything very cold. Our bathroom had a shower only but that was fine with us; large shower!! Thermostat was on the wall and we were in charge of the temperature in our room. The tv was at least a 42”(or possibly 55”, Huge) and for a 12 yr old boy - that was pretty cool, too! We had a great stay here. On the second day, coming from the pool; front desk had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies!! Who does that, anymore? I’m glad I picked Hampton Inn for my stay in Danville!!

Need handle assist
Some type of rail needs to be installed beside the toilets to assist patrons in standing. I overheard another patron discussing this with the front desk and realized that would have been safer for me also.
