There was no way (that worked) to control it so we assumed it was controlled centrally. The room was a good size but dated. The curtains let in too much light. The bathroom, in particular the shower area was mouldy and not what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. However the toiletries...

"This was a well located hotel on Rennweg about 20 minutes tram ride and walk from the Kunsthistorisches Museum or Burggarten. It’s almost next to the Botanical Gardens and Schloss Belvedere which unfortunately we didn’t get to. It’s a huge hotel where tour groups, airline personnel, and conference attendees stay. The staff were helpful. The room was somewhat dated, but very spacious and clean. We slept well. Housekeeping did a good job."
