The hotel was under full renovation, our room was in a hallway where there were construction workers and it seemed like all the rooms were being redone and we were just placed in an old room just to keep business in the hotel. The pool is completely torn apart along with the lobby. Parking structure was used for all the new carpets, beds, microwaves etc. When we booked the hotel it didn't mention anything about it being a complete war zone of construction. The room itself, toilet barely flushed, the bathroom was not draining, the vent had lots of dust and the phone was very old. Thankful we only stayed one night and only slept there. Hotel denied any type of reimbursement, so lesson learned read reviews prior to booking. I did enjoy the bar area at night. Otherwise I should of stayed somewhere else.

This was a terrible visit. There was construction going on at the pool area and in many of the guest rooms, which is understandable except for how poorly managed the crews were. There was drywall mud and chunks strewn throughout the hallways. The crew left the fire doors open so the noise and dust from the rooms they were working in was spilling into the hallways. There was a chop saw in one of the guest rooms that had the door wide open... very dangerous as a child could have easily accessed it. The boiler went out one evening and was not repaired until late morning the next day, so I was forced to take a cold shower in preparation for the conference I was attending. The night manager was dismissive and rude when asked about when the hot water would be restored. The room was dirty with the bathtub caulking filled with mildew, ripped couch cushions and a terrible shower door design that required you to step all the way into the shower in order to reach the knob to turn it on. Doubletree properties are always my go-to hotel when taking quick trips because they are usually clean, well kept and welcoming. Not this property.

The hotel was not as expected. The hotel is under heavy construction. I undestand that remodeling is happening however letting us know before we booked it. Bathroom very dated. Dirty areas. No pool due to the remodeling. I just wish i was informed. And got no discount for the inconvenience.

This property is under construction with renovations. Finding the room on multiple elevators was a challenge and the parking garage is unsafe. There was also no pool for use. We were not made aware of the construction when booking and multiple guests made the same comment. There was also no answer at the front desk when we needed assistance.

We liked three things only: the valet (very nice guy), the location near the beach, and the bed. It was one of the least pleasant hotels that we have ever stayed in 50 years of marriage!

There is an active construction in the hotel. Not safe for kids! The chemicals are at everywhere. There was a false fire alarm triggered in the morning. Horrible experience!

Great staff particularly Josh the night valet. Hotel is undergoing construction so a lot of dusty mess, crew members, and noise. Front doors seem thin as you can hear everybody walking through the halls and constant sounds of neighbor doors opening and closing. Easy walk to the beach. Nice balcony and views. Convenient sundry shop 24 hrs with alcohol options. Pet friendly with treats. Bar closes too early 9:30 or 10:30 on weekends. Free coffee in lobby. Very wheelchair accessible with automatic lobby door and easy disabled parking. Easy to take the stairs if you don’t like elevators. Overall very nice stay. Will be really great once renovations are completed!

It would have been nice to know that the property was under construction. Had we been aware that may have changed where we stayed. We travelled with a baby so the loud construction noise was not ideal for nap time. The door to our room had a big gap under it so the light from the hallway shined in at night. The shower door in our room did not close fully. We left the room all day our second day and the room still had not been cleaned by the time we returned. We had to go ask for more towels and empty our own garbages.

The property is under complete renovation they need to tell people when they book. It ruined our spring break the worse service jackhammers, fire alarms, pool that is falling apart I’m so upset I took time off for my kids, and the it’s such a shame that Hilton always this. They charged my card 40 costs for parking without telling me. I was there in person to check in. They didn't give me a bill for this 40 bucks, they just took it out of my account. They said it was on the website: ( really ? You couldn't mention it? That's practically stealing. The bathroom was not clean the faucets were all super old and the bathtub would not drain.

The location of this property is amazing we had a beautiful view from our room. We were on the second floor and unfortunately, it stank of what I can only describe as cat pee. The entire floor we walked through smelled and so did our room. It was almost too much for me even to fall asleep. I see that you are making reservations so I hope replacing carpets is one of them as I assume this will assist with this problem.

Great price for location, tho you get what you pay
The front of house and valet were Super courteous, helpful and kind. The wait staff for breakfast were unavailable, then condescending and rude!! We had a 'stuffy' and very unfresh smelling room at first, with a view of the large garbage bins in back. When my young daughter began 'sneezing' after an hour, they upgraded us to a frontside ocean view/breezy room! What a relief as staying for 2 nights it was so much more pleasant!

The location of this hotel is great, walking distance to multiple beaches. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only complaint is the noise, especially in our room. Our room was outside of the rooftop lounge, which was noisy until 10:00 PM every night, the highway was also easily heard, and also the train. If you are given a room near the rooftop lounge and try to sleep before 10:00 PM, request a different room.

Fabulous hotel in location close to beaches and amenities. Hotel staff was friendly and gracious and quick with items like extra bedding, towels and toddler crib. We ate at and loved the rooftop bar with food served from downstairs. The pool was warm and everything was very clean.
