"Hardee's is across the street, bed is comfortable (my husband has back and neck issues), owners are friendly and accommodate our needs weekly and the room is always clean and ready for us. We stay two nights a week regularly due to my husband's work location. It's my understanding this motel used to have issues, but I've seen none in the two months we've stayed there. We will continue to stay here when in this area for work."
"The surrounding area to the property is gorgeous and has great potential for a nice place to get away; however, the lack of information prior to arriving was a bit of a let down. Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. Loose insulation, cracks in the ceiling, and tiny pieces of stone/tile on the shower floor were just some of the things noticed. Secondly, please do not advertise a space as pet friendly when you yourself have an unsupervised pet that has access to the same yard as your guests. Not all dogs greet each other kindly and it would benefit all involved if that could be avoided entirely. Third, please include information on just how close the building is to the main residence. We brought pets who would need to be left in crates for a short time when we left at one point. Our dogs can be a bit loud when first crated and so we usually try to pick a place that isn’t too close to other residences so as to not bother anyone if they continue to be loud. All in all, this spot has the potential at being a great location with a little effort and some fine tuning on its description and current state."
"Delicious large breakfast made by friendly and welcoming owners, served family style. Eclectic furniture and antiques initiated good conversation and interesting stories. The Honeymoon Suite was large and the bed was very comfortable. The en-suite was nice and clean but it’s important to note there is no shower. You can use the shower downstairs or use the included bath. Not a big deal unless you want to wash your hair. The grounds could be lovely but are somewhat dilapidated and very much need attention. A nice stay overall. "

"Overall excellent small hotel. Staff was very helpful when I didn’t receive my access code for my room. Not their fault but my phones, but everyone made sure I got the hat I needed. Room was lovely although we were only there long enough to sleep. I had never stayed at a in-manned hotel like this but they made the process seamless. "
