They gave us the tour of the house on check-in and made sure we were provided with all necessary info. Unfortunately, we went during the winter storm and due to power outage the heater was not working and we had to cut our stay shorter. Hosts were very helpful and worked with us to refund the money for remaining of the stay. They even took their posting off until weather improved. This is a simple home that was good for my group. It's a corner lot with a large fenced in back yard. Would be great for kids/dogs or anyone looking for patio time. The neighborhood seemed nice but the overall surrounding town isn't known for being a great area. We got looks from friends in Dallas when we told them where we were staying. We experienced no issues and never felt uncomfortable. Note that the owners live directly across the street, which could make some a little uncomfortable.
