Nice hotel with well equipped gym
Very spacious and well kept room but surprised that there was no bathtub which I thought it has when I booked from picture. So when I requested for room with bathtub, I was asked to pay extra. I was disappointed that there was no free upgrade as I have booked 2 rooms 2 night each.

I've stayed at the Hyatt at Songshan Lake (close by) and the rooms here are almost identical, same room layout, slightly different bathroom but at half the price. About the only drawback is if you don't speak Chinese (I don't). Only 1 in 20 speak English, where the Hyatt probably more like 1 in 2. But the restaurant staff used Google translator, probably could have never ordered dinner without it. There is a buffet that would make it easier but I avoid buffets. I only rated the amenities a 4 because it appeared there was some remodeling going on near the swimming pool (which looked great but didn't use it) so maybe more amenities will be forthcoming.

The in room phone system is antique with loud static on line. Only 2 English language cable stations that played same programming every day. Room Servise food was terrible.

Good Hotel in Dongguan - will stay here again
Very good hotel for staying in Dongguan, rooms very large and comfortable, good facilities, and the best thing is the internet allows access to Facebook, Google, Youtube etc. Not a high percentage of the staff speak english, but it's not really a problem.

Travel to Shenzhen
I did not feel welcomed at the hotel. Check-in counter desk staff did not smile and tried to help you. Language was the biggest hurdle. Currency rate was the worst. Everywhere 1.0USD is 6.26RMB but hotel was converting at 1.0USD is 5.96RMB. Room was old furniture and uneven bed. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Royal Garden
Visit to Royal Garden was pleasant, clean and overall good hotel for the price. However the breakfast food choices were more asian in style then a western breakfast- not a lot of choice for a buffet. Also no nightlife there nightclub basically empty

Chineese Staff sgould learn English
Hotel Staff does not sleak English. Especially in the Lobby service. Very difficult to order something and get it right. And when they make a mistake because they did nit underatand they will still charge you.

Good hotel stay
The hotel room was clean with the air conditioning working as required. The amenities provided were adequate and it was an overall comfortable stay. I have been staying here every time I came to Dongguan. One of the best hotels in the area.

Good hotel in a good area, a little bit pointless having a balcony if there are no chairs to let you sit and relax, but apart from that I was very happy and would recommend

As advertised
Business trip, spent two evenings at this hotel. Hotel staff very polite and helpful! Rooms were big and bed was comfortable. Wonderful dinner at onsite Japanese restaurant first night. Sat outside by the waterfall one evening, very relaxing! Will stay here again in the future.

A bit old... 3 of 5 restaurants are closed. No Room Service... The food is not very good. The Mini bar was closed, and after i ask to open it, it was almost empty. I think this Hotel lost his prestige...

I've stayed at this hotel many times and it is still one of the best in Dongguan. The bed is comfortable and the service is good. The breakfast spread is also more than adequate.

Luxury rooms in a garden style area
Great Hotel, rooms are perfect, large size, all was super clean. The only issue is that some of the lobby team are not able to speak English, which is a pity for foreigners.

Excellent hotel for business trip
The hotel is equal to other 5 star hotels that I have stayed at in Dongguan and about half the price. The staff are friendly and I had no language trouble throughout my stay. The breakfast is ok, not amazing, but included within the room rate. The coffee was the best I'd had in China though! The rooms are spacious and have everything you could need for a relaxing business trip with reasonable internet speeds. I think the hotel runs a VPN, so you can access western websites that I have found blocked at other Chinese hotels and locations (Facebook, Gmail, etc).

Good business hotel
Stayed at this hotel on many occasions. Rooms are very comfortable and the size of a suite. Free WiFi and a decent mix of restaurants. A great hotel for those doing business in Dongguan.

Royal Dongguan
Visited Dongguan for business and stayed for a couple nights in November 2014. The hotel and room were very nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. This was my second trip to the Royal Garden Dongguan and I will definitely stay there again.

Good Value - Beautiful grounds
Definitely would stay at this hotel again. Rooms good size Bed and Pillows comfortable as Beds in China go. Grounds are well maintained and beautiful It was a little difficult to navigate the grounds as maps were a little unclear. Staff were friendly - better than most other hotels in China Check-in/out was efficient English was weak but acceptable and typical Dinner in the western restaurant was okay, but way over priced Breakfast in restaurant was satisfactory Purpose on my visit was business, but was also I nice place to stay with families

バーは お酒の種類が豊富でした 日本料理は まあ中国なので味は普通でしたが 単価はとても高い 特に冷酒小瓶は日本円で¥4500位します 部屋はとても広く シーツもマットレスもとても良い 日本人が好む 薄めの ルールフレグランスもあり 宿泊費と立地としてのホテルとしてのレベルはとても良かったと感じました そしてベランダがついていて 外に出られる構成は 中国に300回程 行っていますが初めてでした。
